Taco Bout It Tuesday: Unsolved Mysteries

Hey! This weekend was pretty busy for me, so I decided to do another random Tuesday post to taco ’bout anything and everything. It’s cheesy, but lettuce begin.

literally, TELL ME EVERYTHING!

Okay, so I went to the Bay Area to see my sister [finally] over the weekend, then we drove down to Monterey, CA where I’ve been for a conference for the last few days. I actually really like it here! It’s small, right by the water, and has pretty mellow weather. I just don’t like the lack of rain, which is the only thing keeping me from living in CA. And cost of living. So, two things.

My Taco ’bout It Tuesday topic for you comes from my trip. My sister stayed in the hotel room with me the first night and mentioned that she loved staying in hotel rooms just watching crappy tv that she would never watch at home. I didn’t really understand what she meant, but then last night instead of doing homework I watched Maleficent. But then at like 11 the good late night stuff came on:

jonbenet-ramsey-unsolved-murder

JonBenét: An American Murder Mystery. Apparently, because it’s the 20 year anniversary there are numerous documentaries popping up.

My questions for you are:

A. when you’re in a hotel what do you binge watch?

B. what do you make a bee line toward at the aquarium?

C. who killed JonBenét?

D. what is your favorite mystery?

Let us know below, and stay crispy, you little tortillas!

    (A) Disney for the squeakers.
    (B) Whatever is in front of us but not too close for the huge tanks because the walkable squeakers think the fish will eat them. This is why we did not renew our membership to the Shedd Aquarium.
    (C) The brother.
    (D) Rebecca. Dry as hell HS summer assigned book but picked up in the end. And The Usual Suspects for a movie.

    DUDE love the pics!

So not sure who killed that poor little girl but it sure shed a lot of light on how police need to follow procedure and how the media LOVES them some little blonde blue eyes girls! So much media for her yet other children got any!

I travel a lot and I used to travel A LOT all for work. So just me in a hotel room. I often will watch the most trashy of trash TV until about 9pm when I can watch Adult Swim on the cartoon network. I will order food and just eat it on the bed while watching “muh stories” and drinking boxed wine. all the while I will be working on my computer and getting work done.

Last week long mtg I had to go to I watched a ton of Star Trek.

At the Aquarium I go to see the otters. I love ocean otters!

I dunno mystery wise… I will have to think about it!!!

    Love these Tuesday Tacos!!!! hahaha

Thanks, lady! I agree there about the girl.
Also, love me some Adult Swim!
Last weekend we went to the Star Trek exhibit because McBoyfriend is a diehard Star Trekkie. It’s growing on me. I like Janeway.
Otters I die for too! I was reading about how they apparently have rock toys that they love playing with. I can’t find the video now, but there’s this CUTE video where this otter is just juggling some rocks on his tummy.

I LOVE Janeway! I have not gotten into the Star Trek where they are just kicking it at a station. It goes super slow. I love otters and their tummies!!!!!

Ohh, Farmcat. The mystery of the socks!!! I found a sock bag online that I wanted to get. You just throw all your socks in a mesh bag and wash and dry them all and hopefully end up with an even number of matching socks later!

    A. Usually don’t like having the tv on, otherwise just a movie.

    B. Jellyfish, sloths, owls… and anything like a meerkat that makes my eyes bulge and me go “AWWHHHH!!! CUUUUTEEEEE!!! I WAAANT ONEEE!”

    C. I think the parents worked together on that one. Made it look like someone else did it. But I agree with Subista–people go missing and get murdered often, but this blonde wealthy child consumed a lot of attention and money, and it sort of shows what is a priority for many media and some police.

    D. I love mysteries that lead me in different directions where I think I know what’s happening, and then the answer is revealed and you’re left questioning everything you thought you knew!
