Cost: $10/month

Why Ipsy? Ipsy is one of the more affordable beauty subscriptions. People enjoy receiving Ipsy because you get 5 beauty samples (the samples received are usually makeup, and if you are lucky you may get a full size item every once in a while). Ipsy also sends out brushes, which is amazing. What makes Ipsy unique is the fact that each month you will receive a “Glam bag” with your products which is super cute.

Here is the November Ipsy Glambag…..

img_8054 Ipsy Glambags always arrive in a pretty  pink foil envelope.

Each Ipsy Glambag contains a card describing the theme for the bag.

The theme for the Ipsy November Glambag is “RockStarlet”, I really like the bag and the star that contains the Ipsy logo.

Let’s see what is actually inside this month’s bag…

The products in this month’s bag do not look exciting to me at all. I see a blush, yet another sub box mascara and a bright red lipstick.

Now let’s take a closer look at each product in the bag.

Absolute Matte Stick– Lipstick in Rouge a levres, Full Size $5.99

Alright, so I was not very happy with this shade because of how bright and red it is. I have to admit that I did not open it to do a swatch but I did visit the Ipsy website to look at the color of the shade (click here if you would like to see it). According to the Ipsy website this lipstick does not run and it only comes off when you are ready to take it off. I am thinking to save it unopened to give it as a gift to someone who will use it (or possibly include it in a giveaway).

Ofra – Banana Highlighting Powder (Sample size included)

This banana powder is new to me and I have never tried it before so I am glad it came in my bag. According to the Ofra website this banana powder not only helps for highlighting areas of the face but also to conceal dark circles and set concealer. I am definitely happy with anything that helps with my dark circles. The powder is actually very light and I enjoy the fact that is scented.

The Balm – Mad Lash Black Mascara (Sample size included)

The full size of this mascara retails for $18 and it promises to volumize your lashes making them look fuller. I am again not excited about receiving mascara.

Doucce – Freematic Blush in Zen Orange (Sample size included)

According to Ipsy this is a soft and silky blush that goes on evenly. The blush is also made with an oil free formula that won’t smudge. I get blushes in subscriptions very often so to me this product was not exciting ….although…

….when I turned the sample around I saw that it contained two silver circles, that yes, you guessed it, they are magnets. The sample is magnetic which I think is actually kind of cute and fun.

Nuxe – Nuxellence Detox (Sample size included)

This is an anti aging night serum that helps detoxify skin. According to the Nuxe website when you wake up in the morning your skin is rejuvenated and can be used on all skin types. I am very happy this product was in my bag, I tried the exfoliating face wash before and it was amazing. The serum has a light fresh scent and it absorbs quickly.

This month’s bag was a thumbs down for me. It seems like I always get bright lipsticks from Ipsy with the exception of the Noya from last month. Getting another mascara and blush also added to the dissappointment. But then again I also subscribe to Glossybox so maybe that is why im tired of blushes and mascaras.

What did you guys think of your months bag? Is it better or worse than last month? Share below! I love reading your comments.
