Hi Ladies! I just wanted climb out from under my mountain of crap I need to get done to share this fun activity that I have been going for about 4 years. It makes me feel like a kid both in trying to find a great gift for the person I get matched with, and also the excitement of getting a gift from a total stranger! I have had such a great time with this and so I am REALLY hoping a few of you will jump on the fun train with me and have a fun quirky time!

Cost: It is free to sign up and get matched. Though once you are matched you must send a gift to the person you are matched with. They say that the good rule of thumb for the cost of the gift would be $20. Some do really thoughtful gifts for under that, and some do really crazy spendy gifts. However mostly everyone sticks to the $20.
Note, that when you do sign up and you say you don’t mind sending a gift to someone outside of your country that shipping costs to other countries can be REALLY expensive. So while it might be fun, the cost of shipping should be thought of!
The matching is truly weird. Tomorrow during the day they will start the matching process. You get an email and find out the name and whatever info your match gives you. Part of the fun for me is to do a light internet stalking on them where I find out more ideas for gifts.
For example last year the fellow I was supposed to send a gift to did not fill out much info on the questionnaire. So with some soft sleuthing I found his pinterist and it looked like he wanted to someday brew beer! So I send him a whole kit and he was VERY touched!
I would LOVE if a few of us got into it and then we could all share out experiences and what we got! It is really only $20, and you can even get matched with Bill gates or other famous people who do it every year. We can also help each other with ideas for gifts is we are stuck!
