Peaches and Petals Subscription Review + Coupon – November 2016

Peaches and Petals is a lifestyle and beauty box with a retro sort of leaning. They promise a mix of products that are both bring beauty and style to your door each month. I could probably use more of both every day to be honest. It seems to be eclectic but usually not too heavy of the beauty products which is a welcome change for many of us subscription box enthusiasts!

Cost: $19.99 a month

Usually there is a card that details each item. Mine might not have made it in my box OR my cat is trying to sabotage my illustrious blogging hobby…

Super Soft Throw: This is sooooo super soft and I am glad that it is something I can just toss into the washer and dryer and not worry about if it will fall apart. I love throw blankets. I love to just toss them around and sorta just pretend I am in a caravan of warmth. My cat loves them as well… maybe too much! I have no idea how she gets so much fur all over them. Anyway, I love the color as purple is my power color right now.

Some ladies on MSA said that this blanket was from the dollar store. I dunno, I feel like everyone has these magic dollar store’s where they live because I have never seen something like this there. While this is not name brand with a $100 RV, I can’t help but be glad that I received something useful!

Do you want to come away with me on a magic throw blanket adventure? Box wine included.

Mug: I was SHOCKED this was not broken. They wrapped it in a pretty cool manner. What they did was to tuck the mug into the blanket so that it had extra padding. Awesome! Anyway I break mugs a lot these days so one more is always nice. This one is definitely for the coco drinker…

Anyway I could get a mug made for boxed wine?

Slightly Melted – Shower Mochi: I have received this product before and I actually really dig it for shower time scrubbing made easy. You just grab one of these and get all those dead skin cells off of your body, at the same time you become scented with a sugary yumminess that is sure to confuse mosquitoes.

I honestly want to hug whoever invented the Salted Caramel flavor…

Mountain Lodge – Merino Wool Outdoor Sport Socks: I am crazy about socks! I love them! I love to wear them whenever possible. Yes, that is my socked foot peeking out from under the blankets. I just love to keep my ice cold tooties warm. Comfort to me is not looking down at my ice cold  toes. These socks look warm and are just a bit thinner than another pair I bought for a lot of money… well a lot of money for socks in my mind anyway. I dig the color and will be testing them out very soon!

If ONLY I could make the socks and high heel look for for me!!!

Lucky Charms Lip Balm: I will be gifting this to a younger person as I am super picky about my lip balms. I think the thing about Lucky Charms wasn’t really the flavor but more the colors and shapes of the marshmallows… so yeah… BUT great little stocking stuff for a lil ‘un.

Weird that I want to try all the old cereals I used to like to see if I still can stomach them!

Verdict: I was really juiced to see the blanket and socks in this package because I love the colors and can actually use them. I REALLY should have not read the comments on MSA because it kinda put a damper on my perceived value of the box. I also realllly wonder about these magic dollar stores and why I have never found one. I am actually jealous! However, for me this was a nice box with a clear theme of cozy. The mug is cute and will fit a lot of spiced wine. I guess I am just more into a collection of items I can put to use right now, so this was a good showing for me.

I watch some of the mommy saving hauls at the dollar store and I am like “why don’t they have any of those at my dollar store!” but I guess it pays off when youtubers go once a week.

Man if they had those throws at the dollar store I would pick up a ton and make some nice care package/holiday gift and hoard the rest. Hopefully I will get to try out one of those mochis in a sub box one of these days. Warm socks are always a plus. You are totally right on regarding the lucky charms it was all about the marshmallows.

What a great box. I too wonder about these alleged dollar stores. Being able to put something in the wash for me is where it is at!
