If you are wondering what sort of hobbies that hippies have. . . well, then you came to the blog just in time. 1st off, hippies love having hobbies and hippies especially love hobbies that involve cool diy projects (say that 3 times fast).

And thus The Hippie Hobby was born! In all seriousness, this box is an uber cool craft box that sends you the materials to make a craft (and a small mini craft) with a focus on up-cycling or recycled materials. How cool is that?!

Love the printed logo box! It makes mail feel so special!

I say this everytime but it still remains true. . . I love the packaging!

And yes, that is recycled newspaper packaging (because they really do care about the environment)!

Here is this month’s theme:

Here is a relatively new insert they include:

How cool is it to add in some history with the origins of greeting cards?!

Did you send Christmas cards this year?

Personally, I love that they include printed instructions over logging into a website for directions.

The theme for the November Box was: Handmade Greeting Cards

I absolutely loved this theme and they packed the box with tons of fun materials to inspire you as well as gave you six ideas to get you started.

Assorted papers in different colors and patterns

LOVE LOVE LOVE that they threw in two types of glue! A glue stick and a more liquid stronger craft glue.

I am dying to know if they raided Home Depot for these!

Here is one of the designs I attempted:

Survey Says:

This month’s craft took a little more time than their usual projects. I didn’t have as much time as I would have liked to devote to making cards! However, the supplies will work for any time of year and it is nice knowing I have some backup supplies for making cards for birthdays and etc! I agree with Hippie Hobby that a handmade card is so special in our tech savy lives. Overall I think this box does a great job at sending a fun project that you can complete with a glass of wine in your hand!
