Peaches and Petals Subscription Review + Coupon – December 2016

Peaches and Petals is a lifestyle and beauty box with a retro sort of leaning. They promise a mix of products that are both bring beauty and style to your door each month. I could probably use more of both every day to be honest. It seems to be eclectic but usually not too heavy of the beauty products which is a welcome change for many of us subscription box enthusiasts!

Cost: $19.99 a month

This month? Jingle and Mingle

Color A Day Calendar: Holy coloring a day Batman! Said a Robin who like, I dunno, also reviewed stuff on this website… or not. Still, for those who are into coloring or have to sit at a desk this could be a savior! i just wouldn’t want someones boss to catch them coloring. You would have to have a pretty cool laid back boss type, or at least go from VERY high strung to calm all of the sudden…

If someone steals your calendar as a joke you can let them know that they wouldn’t like you when your angry! Then start coloring things you really shouldn’t while mumbling about how order is a color and color is your friend…over and over and over…

Wine Bottle Ugly Christmas  Sweater: This is so cute! I want to dress up all my booze and just hang out in style. I will have to save this for a party where a hostess gift of champagne is in order. OR, if I don’t get invited anywhere then I can dress up my bottle and pretend we are having a party!

The only thing better than dressing your wine bottle is undressing it…

Wax Free Tart Warmer With Wax Free Tarts: This is such a cool idea! I have all sorts of things to make my home smell good or at least help me relax. i actually don’t have one of these so I am very pleased. I also like the scents they sent. Right up my alley!

My home smells of old wine boxes and strangely mahogany. I can let you guess which one of these items actually litters my space…

Earrings: I have to be super picky about what metals I use for my ears. The weird thing? When they do turn red or react to metals sometimes only ONE does it. What is up with that? Like shouldn’t both ears react the same?

I am going to have to look into this weird ear thing…

Manna Kadar – Liplocked Priming Gloss Stain (Lucky): This is a liked brand and color. So much is it liked that I have like 5 of them. I do enjoy giving them away as usually people do really enjoy how you can build color on top if you want. It is wearable, and a nice addition if you have not tried it.

I always thought “locking lips” sounded really painful and sort of horrible…

Verdict: I enjoyed December a lot. I thought the sweater was super cute and allowed me to dress up my booze like I would a small child. Also after drinking my booze and passing out on a couch I could wake up to a nice smelling home, and a hung over stay in activity. So yeah, pretty much checked my boxes!

Wow, great box! Manna is great, I’ve got a couple. Daily calendars are too much for me. I usually get to March and give up on trying the origami, new word acquisition, book suggestion, or whatever else, and then I find it months later and feel bad for wasting paper.

I need something like a color the day calendar. I was almost ambitious enough to but an oragami a day calendar. It would be good to have the unused days being used on rainy days with my Pnut people. Why doesn’t the Amazon have major discounts for calendars like this after New Years!?!
I digress. Its a lovely box with useful items!

This is a great box! That gloss is my favorite! I love daily calendars. My favorite are the Word a Day kind. I like to use ithe word several times a day while talking to my husband so I can feel really smart. Then, it never fails, I usually find out that I’m pronouncing the damn word incorrectly. I never tell him though. So, if he uses my word and my pronunciation later, I kind of feel like it’s revenge for not understanding facial contour makeup. Ha!

As an aside I don’t get contour at all! I always end up looking dirty!
