Amazon Maternity Sample Box Review – January 2017

Announcement: Yes I am pregnant with my fourth Pnut baby.

I make only girls apparently.

Another precious baby girl Squeaker.

She shall be nicknamed Squeaker I think. And Squeaker shall be her nickname.

Off to the review!

OMG There is MICE (AKA Micellaire) Water in this box!!!

Mice water is a good standby item in any subscription box!

Amazon Maternity Sample Box

Box: Amazon Maternity Sample Box

Cost: $19.99 BUT it is $9.99 after you apply code FAMILY BOX at checkout. This box is practically free because you are issued a $9.99 credit off selected purchases off brands inside the box PLUS you get  a .99 credit off any Dash Button of your choice.

The Dash Button, my next rabbit hole of my Amazon/Subscription addiction.

Note: I had to call Amazon Customer Service who manually issued a $9.99 credit so I can order this Mustela PhysiObebe No-Rinse Cleansing Fluid.

Mustela PhysiObebe No-Rinse Cleansing Fluid AKA Baby Windex this is ten times better than any baby no-rinse wiping fluid and worth it for any “sticky” materials left anywhere on your newborn, baby, toddler, little human, etc. This product is Paraben, phthalate and phenoxyethanol free in addition to being composed of 97 percent ingredients of natural origin and hypoallergenic and specially formulated to minimize the risk of allergic reactions. I either apply via pump onto a baby wipe or put some in mini-sprays to take along with me in one of my many diaper bags.

This is practically a liquid version Mr. Clean Magic Eraser for humans!

Kick Back and Get Comfortable:

Off to an coupon that will take me down a rabbit hole…

Amazon Dash Button Coupon Code
Amazon Dash Button Coupon Code

Amazon Dash Button Coupon Code

I am not sure whether anyone recalls, but the Amazon Dash Buttons first appeared on April Fools Day.

Only it was not an April Fools.

I digress. Once I think up a product that is not under Amazon’s Save and Subscribe, I will use this .99 coupon code to get my first Amazon Dash Button. I am currently waitlisted to get that yummy chocolate sweets box….

Because I rather put five items in my Save and Subscribe and push up a date to save 15%-20% rather than get an item rushed to me.

Rainbow Light Prenatal One

Rainbow Light Prenatal One

This expires on 10/19 and I will be saving this in the gift pile to add into a mom-to-be’s congrats kit. I prefer gummy prenatals. As a sidenote, I do use Rainbow Light’s 100% Calcium Citrate Minitabs because the tablets are not horse pills that most calcium pills in the market are.

It’s Rainbow Light not Rainbow Bright 😉

Smarty Pants Prenatal Gummies

Smarty Pants Prenatal Gummies – Now these are a brand that are a family favorite! I have these prenatals and different varieties of their kid’s gummies on Save and Subscribe and usually am able to re-order when there is an additional coupon to save even more.

Because Vitamins should be yummy and chewable!

Preggie Pop Drops

Preggie Pop Drops – I finally got my paws to try this out! Preggie Pops Brand is all natural and on Amazon Save and Subscribe (heh). I received a Sour Tangerine which tastes really really really flavorable with the right amount of tartness to definitely distract any morning sickness.

I usually get my morning sickness in the evening go figure.

Snack Better Sahale Snacks Honey Almonds Glazed Mix

Snack Better Sahale Snacks Honey Almonds Glazed Mix

I am munching on this whilst blogging. It’s pretty fancy stuff using pricey Madagascar vanilla bean. There are some nommy dried cranberries speckled in for some chewiness factor.

Nom. I am a fan.

RXBAR Protein Bar in Chocolate Sea Salt

RXBAR Protein Bar in Chocolate Sea Salt – Also on Save and Subscribe, this has a four star reviews. The missing one star could be from me. I will finish mine with a side of real chocolate.

A nom but not a fan.

VICHY Purete Thermale 3 in 1 One Step Cleansing Micellar Solution

VICHY Purete Thermale 3 in 1 One Step Cleansing Micellar Solution

This is my third sample and is one of my favorite Mice Waters. If I ever run out of subscription Mice Water, this would be my purchase of choice!

You must try Mice Water! You will not go back!!!

H2O+ Beauty Waterbright Illuminating Night Cream

H2O+ Beauty Waterbright Illuminating Night Cream

I am a big fan of products in an airless pump form. There are tons of Vine Reviews which account for the high marks. It is a bit too floral for ma face so this will be used as a hand cream. Sometimes these face creams to a better job than traditional hand creams go figure maybe the high price tag matters 😉

My hands are recipients of very nice subscription box face creams at times.

La Roche-Posay Soothing Repairing Balm

La Roche-Posay Soothing Repairing Balm

I love any product that can be used for adults, children and babies. Just another thing I can whip out of my diaper bag! It is free of parabens and can be used on lips, face, and body of any human that would need some soothing in a balm sense. I just applied some of this lightly scented stuff on the sides and bottom of my nose to for some relief from blowing my nose. It did its job.

Now off to a diaper bag you go!

Mustela Stretch Marks Prevention Cream

Mustela Stretch Marks Prevention Cream – I do not care what these products say but if stops the growing itchies of skin stretching then it works in my book. FYI usually one gets stretch marks with the second pregnancy. I am a weird duck and have not gotten any stretchmarks on my tummy. My thighs have always been another story with and without baby 😉

Ohhh this smells fruity! I will use this up.

Not that anyone wants to see my flabby stretch-free postpartum tummy that I dare not to flaunt.

Mama Mio The TummyRub Butter

Mama Mio The TummyRub Butter – I love anything Mama Mio. One of my Holy Grails (HG) is Mama Mio Lucky Legs it gives a nice tingling refreshing sensation. I digress, I let my Pnut people give their baby sister and momma a tummyrub with this stuff and it was nice a really refreshing. Paraben and other nasties-free, this absorbed really fast and for a ton of natural oils, it was not greasy at all!

My baby bump is seriously “refreshed and rejuvenated”. WT I was not expecting to fall in love with this product (not loving the price though).

Verdict:

Amazeballs Amazon!!! This box with the initial code was free. This being my fourth rodeo, I found new products and had some standby subscription box beauty items to boot! And the noms! If you are an Amazon Prime member be sure to have this box as one of your must-haves for yourself or to gift!

Congratulations! What a wonderful blessing! I am getting my 11th gbaby in April. A girl too! Her name is Charlotte Rose. I will call her Princess Charlie!

Congratulations! You do make the cutest girls and this way you don’t have to buy boy clothes & stuff. 😉

Mice water is the bomb. That brand is awesome too.

Thank you Heat! All the girl’s clothes have passed down to the other sister nicely with the exception of zippered footed PJs. Squeakette’s toeberries would break through her PJs which were so cute until it became her whole foot. Fortunately PJs are easy to get and oh so cute!

      Mice water fans unite 🙂

    Woohoo! Congratulations!

(And thank you for your advice on the Amazon STEM box. I’m ordering the 3-4 year old box probably next week.)

    • February 3, 2017 at 3:38 pm

      Thanks Artemis!

I am glad that you are going into that STEM sub too! It may work like a Save and Subscribe just charging when it ships even though you are invoiced when the order is made. I am on my phone now but I am sure that is how it works because I got invoiced for signing up but then later got an order/spoiler when the spoiler item was going to ship. I am looking forward to next month and reviewing it and hearing from you I love it when commentators comment 😀
