Target Baby Box Review – April 2017

Box: April 2017 Target Baby Box (now sold out)

The last/first Target Baby Box was on October 2016

The box that slipped my paws due to sleeping in… I digress.

Cost: $5 clams

Kick Back and Let’s Get This Box Unboxed:

Here is the first peek of the box which has a gold top and white bottom with gold dots!

Target Baby Box – April 2017

A 10% coupon (AKA $10 off $50 Baby purchases) to not tempt me at the Red Balled store!

Dude Target why not use the same coupon in your other boxes. More tempting.

Target Baby Box – April 2017

CeraVe Baby Healing Ointment

CeraVe Baby Healing Ointment (3.0 fl oz)

This is going to my Mom-To-Be gift stash. I already have a huge bottle of Prenatal Vitamins from another subscription related box.

Some Mom-To-Be is gonna be one happy momma!

Raw Sugar Vanilla Bean + Sugar Natural Body Wash

Raw Sugar Vanilla Bean + Sugar Natural Body Wash (2.0 fl oz)

I received this in Target’s Natural Box and I am happy to have another. The smell is heavenly and scrumptious (and this is coming from someone who is picky with Vanilla fragrances). I put this in my hospital delivery bag.

On the other hand, this product is staying with this momma-to-be!

Dove Rich Moisture Tip to Toe Wash

Baby Dove Rich Moisture Tip to Toe Wash (1.8 fl oz)

I am not into the Dove brand. I think the Dove and Doves in general are cute though. The container is not sealed and it smells like the “Dove” brand dove (and not like a dove not that I smelt one before).

Off to to the gift pile it goes to!

Dapple Baby Laundry Detergent Strips

Dapple Baby Laundry Detergent Strips (.9 oz, 5 strips)

I am excited to try anything Dapple has. I do love their products that I have sampled from them. Unfortunately, I cannot obtain them via the Amazon Save & Subscribe or Grove Collaborative with a discount so no dice for me. I digress, these strips are very convenient and I put them in our little laundry basket (with the hairspray and clear dry shampoo sprays) to use when I am solely doing a Pnut people laundry load (my husband is allergic to most detergent and I do not want to subject him to a break out).

Oilogic Slumber and Sleep Essential Oil

Oilogic Slumber and Sleep Essential Oil (.07 fl oz)

I had tried a full size sample of this line’s bubble bath from bluum and would have applied for another if I had stay subscribed and they offered it. bluum did have this product as an item but I never choose it since I have NOW Lavender Essential Oil bought from Grove Collaborative and some other (questionable pyramid scheme brand) topical lavender oil from my Mother-In-Law for the kids.

I digress…

This vial contains Lavender, Chamomile, Mandarin, Orange, Grapefruit, and Bergamot essential oils diluted with jojoba and castor carrier oils. This blend is recommended for over 6 months. I am not an expert of essential oils but I will be using this more of a calming oil and not a sleeping oil as I think the Mandarin, Orange, and Grapefruit (citrus family) are more “energizing” than “sleeping”. It smells nice and I am huffing my hand pads right now.

Huffs away to calmness…

WaterWipes

WaterWipes (10 ct)

Ohhhhh I finally get my paws on some WaterWipes. Lauded by YouTube JuJuBe diaper mommies, these are pretty pricey and even though Amazon sometimes has coupons towards this brand, I just end up buying the Amazon branded wipes so I am pretty happy to see what the fuss is about WaterWipes (like 99% water). Anyways, this is perfect for ME but alas I had to share whilst taking pictures at the local park to clean up my Squeakers who had popsicles as a treat. Other than cleaning faces and hand pads, these wipes would also be perfect for the traditional cleaning #2 baby as it gives enough moisture without being dripping and the cloth is well-made and not flimsy material.

Maybe if I run out of subscription box makeup wipes I will run to the Amazon for these pricey babies….

Aveeno Baby Continuous Protection Sensitive Skin Lotion Zinc Oxide Sunscreen SPF 50

Aveeno Baby Continuous Protection Sensitive Skin Lotion Zinc Oxide Sunscreen SPF 50 (0.5 fl oz)

Another sunscreen tube for the swim/beach diaper bag (JuJeBe branded but of course!) for any Squeaker over 6 months.

UpSpring 100% Organic Coconut Oil Skin Lotion

UpSpring 100% Organic Coconut Oil Skin Lotion – Blister Sample

I had to pause my blogging as I forgot this sample at the park. Luckily it was camouflaged in the dark or peeps were like “how long was that there” lol. I digress, this tiny sample moisturized my hair, face, body (including tummy) yup the whole head, shoulders, knees and toes.

Any now I smell like a coconut macaron.

Target Baby Box (minus the MIA coconut sample) – April 2017

VERDICT:

Great deal for $5! Got some components to add for a baby shower gift, some for this momma-to-be, and some for the Squeakers. Really in love with the overpriced WaterWipes…

You always get me singing that dang song! I ordered this box. Hopefully will be here soon, because me granddaughter, Charlotte Victoria Rose, arrived this past Monday. Yes, I know, I’m Grammy bragging.
