Ecocentric Mom & Baby Subscription Box is a monthly subscription box for moms and moms-to-be sending products that are good for you and/or baby, eco-friendly, and useful.
There are three choices of box subscriptions that Ecocentric has:
For the preggers and the majority of the items curates to the mom-to-be. This subscription transitions to the Mom & Baby box after the due date has past.
This box is suggested for moms with newborns through 18 months. This box caters towards the new momma and baby on the outside.
This box is for mom and children up to age 13. However, if you have a teen, I am sure that they may take items from this box. The mom box has a higher chance of having beauty products in it than the other boxes.
Note: You can always easily change the box you wish to receive!
I choose the Mom & Baby box! Did someone say NEWBORN?
I introduce the weeist addition to the Subscriptionista family
SQUEAKAA!!!
I know I said I was going to name her Squeaker but we changed last minute to Squeakaa.
No worries, I did not really name her that just one of her many nicknames 😉
She looks like Squeak when she was really wee!
*inserts gratuitous picture of Subscriptionista’s squeakers*
I digress, the theme for April Ecocentric Mom boxes is Earth Day!
Dr Brite Cleansing Mouth Rinse

Dr Brite Cleansing Mouth Rinse 3.4 fl oz Travel Size

I LOVE this. Now that it is a big deal but I think alot of peeps think it is but it has no alcohol. It tastes great (I wouldn’t suggest drinking it… mouth rinses in general) and I think I will repurchase this! Seriously, it tastes minty great and it works but I do realize that reading the ingredients, although healthy and eco-friendly look disgusting so if you are looking into an eco-friendly mouth rinse, this will fit the bill! Non-GMO, vegan, and cruelty-free.

My mouth feels fresh and tingly. You know I love to tingle.

South of France French Milled Soaps

South of France French Milled Soaps in Almond Gourmand and Wild Climbing Rose, 1.5 oz each

These look so fancy! Too fancy for Pnut, I included these into a gift.

I wonder if the recipient will use these or not because they are just too fancy.

St Topica Coconut Hot Oil Hair Mask

Ohhhhhh… I have not had a proper hot oil treament since VO5 back in the days. When I get around to nuking this in the microwave I am sure I will be IN LOVE. The great reviews on the Amazon are also compelling me to make the move towards the kitchen before the shower.

I just need to make that.extra.step. The struggle is real.

Previse Skin Ointment Salve

Heh I love the SOS marketing thing. This is great for the diaper bag. This is not lanolin but like lanolin in that you have to put a bit on your fingers and warm it up to apply. This non-scented product is a great multi-tasking product for mom, mom’s nips, baby, kids, and anyone with a parched skin issue.

Are you feelin parched?

Para’Kito Mosquito Repellent Wipes

Para’Kito Mosquito Repellent Wipes

Smells like natural spray in a nicely packaged way! It worked for me (Pnut plays guinea pig on behalf of her Pnut people at times) but I need to try it on on Pipsqueak because bugs think she is nommy :/

Poor Pipsqueak.

itzy ritzy Travel Happens Sealed Wet Bag

itzy ritzy Travel Happens Sealed Wet Bag

I am so happy I got this instead of the snack bags. I have been using the snack bags for other items instead of snacks because I forget about the snacks and that can be messy for washable snack bags. I digress, WET BAGS are the bomb and one need not to cloth diaper to appreciate the awesomeness of this pouch! To note, this is one of the really nice wet bags as it has the fancy/good/eco-friendly lining!

The fox is the new owl!

Zahler Prenatal + DHA Softgels

Zahler Prenatal + DHA Softgels
No offense to other non-gummy vitamins but I am a gummy vitamin kind of lady. This is going in the gift pile for a mom-to-be!

Ecocentric Mom & Baby Subscription Box – April 2017

VERDICT:

Awesome sauce! This box definitely fulfills my need as I have been having bluum box withdrawals. Some stuff for me and some for the wee ones. And no makeup (yet I hope) as I have enough of those in my other “me” subscription boxes.

Who am I kidding, my natural lippies already disappear to my wee ones!

Squeakaa is sooooooooo adorable! All the Pnut people are so beautiful! (Insert 5 minutes of gushing about the ridiculous cuteness of all your girls… seriously,)

I feel Pipsqueak’s pain – bugs find me yummy too.

Great review – I don’t have kids but I could use almost everything in this box!

      Thank you for commenting Farmcat!
The photo credit goes to Bella Baby Photography which is the house photographers at Northwestern. It is my first time with Bella Baby as the other Squeakers had 365Mom. I recommend highly these hospital photographers, it is so convenient, and we just order rights of the digital pictures and then print them out at Walgreens.

Congratulations!! She is gorgeous just like her big sisters!!!

I got 2 months of Ecocentric Mom: Pregnancy Box and I was slightly disappointed with both. I had a review almost finished to submit to the blog last week, but I lost the whole thing and gave up in frustration. I’ll have to try again later, lol. I’m definitely jealous of the wet bag you got. I’m in love with the crazy adorable fox pattern.

      Thanks LC!
How are you doing? Excited, denial, all of the above?
Do you think you might like Ecocentric Mom and Baby more? I know that I would not be happy with the Mom box because its more likely to get makeup and I have enough of it. The thing I like about Ecocentric Mom is that it fills the hole that was left when I unsubbed from blumm.
Since you show an interest in wet bags, Planetwise is a fabulous brand check it out. There are also wet bags that have a dry pouch and a wet pouch (basically a wet bag with two openings) that you might want to look into. Also one of those laundry bag wet bags I LOVE them for putting wet swimsuits and towels. PS I don’t cloth diaper so many ladies comment why I am so knowledgeable on wet bags lol.

I’m starting to get a little anxious about all the things that still need to be done before baby gets here, but VERY excited!! I might like the Mom or Baby box better. I wasn’t crazy about getting things like a bottle of probiotics. I’ll have to look into Planetwise. I’m not going to cloth diaper either, but I think it would be handy to have a couple wet bags on hand. The fox pattern is just too cute though. 🙂

        • June 10, 2017 at 12:03 am

Oh probiotics are good you might appreciate that later (although I did not looksee to see what you actually got if its in horsepill form I agree with you lol). I am totally not a fan of receiving prenatals though because the majority of them in maternity subscription boxes are not gummy and I am a gummy person. But on the other hand, I totally understand why maternity subscription boxes include prenatals.
If it makes you feel better you will never be done before baby gets here 😉 But what you should do is get your hospital bag ready 😀 If/When you enter the denial phase (“I am not about to give birth to a human being”) that means you are getting close to delivering lol
