Kick Back and Get Comfortable:

First, If you go to Look Fantastic’s website, the box is actually called “Look Fantastic X Limited Edition Caudalie Box”. I have no clue why there is an “X” between Look Fantastic and Limited Edition.

That is, I failed to Google it. It is probably some fancy marketing idea. 

I digress, I saw this box and I wanted it but somehow got distracted.

Having Pnut people does that.

Anyway, I go back to muse it over and there is an 15% code.

As you know, one of my favorite things I aspire to be like is Hawaiian. A close second is to be a fancy French Parisian.

Backups include semi-crunchy wannabe and being more normal than weird.

So even though Caudalie is not like 100% natural (but is paraben free natural skincare with active ingredients yadda yadda whatever Caudalie means by that), with the code and the fantasy being a fancy French lady who is loyal to a nightly regimen kicked my semi-crunchy wannabe out to the curb. I also thought if I kept to a brand for my new nightly regimen, once I ran out of a product and replaced it, I would discover whether the new product improved my skin (or not).

This matching concept is new to me its a special day when I wear matching bras and panties.

Well I am going to omit the X for the rest of the review.

Here is a shot of the most relevant part of the booklet. I would have taken other pictures but the rest were marketing material. Why show stuff that is not in the box (that they should have put in amiright)? I save you the hassle of figuring that out lol.

I am also a timesaver. I have no time for book commercials either. 

So we remove the booklet out of the way and we get:

Let’s start my new nightly routine!

First, I use a cleanser because I believe the Mice cleaner isn’t enough.

The cleanser’s will be anon. It is not french. And is almost empty. I need empties. 

If there was one thing in the box that was sold me by looking at it was the mice water. I figured out this pretty French mice water was in a refillable pump so when its done I can refill it with other subscription box mice waters and feel all Parisian whilst applying.

Plus the pump can lock which prevents my Pnut people of pumping it out thinking its soap. They have not leveled up in dexterity to unlock this yet. YET.

I digress… Let’s clean this face like Look Fantastic thinks we should!

Caudalie Micellar Cleansing Water

This mice water is kinda soapyish. I realized that on the second day when I must have been pumped happy. I think I will do a quick rinse afterward if I am not feeling lazy if I overpump.

Because it is easier to just slap the rest of the regimen to ma face then deal with a towel. 

Now I slap on this mask:

Caudalie Instant Detox Mask

This looks like a deeper shade of Calamine Lotion. But have no fear, after a few minutes, it dries up to a perfect Calamine Lotion shade. Leave on 5 to 10 minutes and wash, wash, wash to remove it like a normal mask that dries up on your face and changes color.

Will not repurchase. Don’t like ma face to look like Calamine. 

Used some more Mice water to cleanse off the mask:

I feel dirty. In a not dirty way.

I am believing more in the power of mice water.

Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum Complexion Correcting

First quip, this labeling looks like a cliffhanger label looks like it was missing a word if you read the label as a whole. Second quip, this does not feel like its actually 1/3 of an ounce. I think this will go fast. I have sampled this before and it was not memorable. I feel parched after application and missing my One Love Organics night serum. I am sure me and my One Love Organics will meet very soon after my French tryst.

But it feels nice and makes me feel French.

Caudalie VineActiv Energizing And Smoothing Eye Cream

So much subscription box eye cream for the skin around my two eyes on ma face. The eye cream does not energize me and I am not sure about the smoothing part unless it is supposed to make me feel better using eye cream then I guess it did “smooth” me. I hope keeping this regimen will keep me dedicated to using all the eye cream I have.

Because that is a ton of eye cream. 

Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet

I love this! I love this! This sorbet feels refreshing as such a sorbet slapped on the face should! Maybe, just maybe I could repurchase….

Caudalie Vinoperfect Cell Renewal Night Cream

And because it was a long day and I blog after midnight, I am just going to be real and admit I did not take a mugshot photo. This is your standard night cream that has an extra feature of making you feel all Parisian.

Real Story, Squeakette started to photobomb my “French Lady Wannabe” photoshoot. She tries to be helpful but I explained to her that this is not a Grove Colloborative order. Then she ran off to play with her sisters. 

Verdict: 

Love this! I am already sold on being all regimented on my new nightly routine. And I feel more French I say “C’est la vie Mon Ami” much more due to this box and Moana being premiered to stream on Netflix. My face feels all nice and maybe its because of all the slapping of more than one product on ma face. Maybe I will look into a multi-step K beauty regimen. Regardless, I will refill the mice water pump with more mice water when it runs out. And I might, just might buy the sorbet.

At the minimum, I will keep eating sorbet of the nommy kind.
