Pura Vida Bracelets Subscription Box Review - July 2017

Confession time: I was a Debbie Doubter on this sub. I thought it was stupid because it is three friendship bracelets for $15. Well, then I found a sale for half off your first box, and went for it. I actually wear them almost every day, and I quite like them! Pura Vida supports workers in Costa Rica, and the bracelets are made out of a waxed linen, and not just embroidery thread like regular friendship bracelets.

Nice, bright packaging.

The sunglasses sticker went on our beer fridge in the garage which is already half covered in car racing, skateboarding, and tool stickers.

Beaded Bracelet: $12

I like this one, but the beads always hang onto one side, so I think I might glue a few down here and there.

Ooer, by the pool!

It’s a small inflatable one. I live in the Pacific Northwest for cripes sake.

Also, this picture was to illustrate the strands that stick out and drive me nuts.

Okay, I think that’s it for my bracelet modeling career!!

Verdict: The July Pura Vida Bracelet sale helped this lady change her mind about a company. I now really love my bracelets and have worn them almost every day since I got them earlier in July. Usually, there are only three bracelets in each box, but this one had a special extra, so I got four for $7, with a $45 value. Pretty awesome! The only aspect I don’t like is how all of the ends stick straight out, so I try to tuck them in throughout the day.

I looked all over the website, and they’ve got info saying you can add bracelets from the shop onto your next order, but I couldn’t figure out how to do that. I’ll probably try this out for another month at least.

What do you think? Do you want to be my friend with bracelets?

Disclaimer: this was purchased by me at a discount, and all opinions are my own. Contains affiliate link where you get 50% off an order of $40+ and I get $10.

Oh these are nice! I saw the spoilers and if there was a month to get this sub it would have been this month. Got busy. To make up for this FOMO I decided to wear jewelry today in your honour. A girl cannot have too many accessories.

In my imagination you’re wearing like eight necklaces, bracelets up to your elbows, at least two rings per finger, and a few facial piercings, nodding while your daughters keep picking out more and saying “it’s never too much!”

More like the other way around subtracting the piercings and adding hairbows and saying “I’m sure about it!” to my “Are you sure about it?”

I think I have to try this. You are such an enabler. I’m telling my husband it’s your fault. Then I give him a blotting paper and tell him to chill out

Susie did you try Pura Vida yet? I didn’t really like August–it was too bland for my rainbow fashion palette, but I’ll get it for another month or two.
