That’s what she said!

Kick Back and Get Comfortable:

First, the box!

BeautyFix August 2017

And “Reading Material” for your pleasure…

BeautyFix August 2017
BeautyFix August 2017

First, let me prepare a drink using a little something something from this subscription box…

Perricone MD Super Berry with Açaí Dietary Supplement Powder
Perricone MD Super Berry with Açaí Dietary Supplement Powder

Perricone MD Super Berry with Açaí Dietary Supplement Powder

Bleh. BLEH. BLEHHH!!!! Fruity non-goodness. I do not subscribe to Sephora Play! but if they added this as a sample from Perricone MD I would seriously be majorly pissed off and have my pitchfork up to the high heavens. Unfortunately, BeautyFix allows supplements in their boxes so I can’t really complain.

KERANIQUE Daily Essentials Dietary Supplement

KERANIQUE Daily Essentials Dietary Supplement

Oh but I can complain when there are TWO supplements included. This is not a supplement subscription box. *Puts in giveaway pile*

Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Cleanser

Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Cleanser

I also wanted BeautyFix secondly for this product. A little goes a long way. This smells “AVEDAish” so I can see why some people would find the scent off-putting as it took me awhile back in the day to fall in love with AVEDA’s smell. The color is off-putting to me but its a green/eco/crunchy product and when I use it in the hot summer especially after weeding, I really do not care what color the product is as long as it gives me a nice squeaky clean feeling.

Although they should really work on the color. Aveda has this covered. This is not Burts Bees which should be the only mainstream brand that can actually pull off and get away with bad packaging! Even though Burt retired. I digress.

And now that I have my face with cleanser, I need a little something something vibrating action…

Oh how cute is this! It was smaller then I expected.

That’s what she said!

So since this was supposed to last 100 uses, I assumed that it would shut off after a minute like my Clarisonic (that I fail to keep re-charging).

2 minutes later I am thinking that is not the case.

I like this plus I am really looking forward to using this assist cleaning my makeup brushes when the charge runs out. I do not like it enough to switch from re-purchasing Clarisonic heads.

That’s what she said!

DCL Hydra Boost Finishing Serum and Renewal Complex

DCL Hydra Boost Finishing Serum and Renewal Complex

Too cute. Too pricey. I like putting sets in the giveaway pile it looks fancy  and expensive so off it goes!

DermaBlend Pro Setting Powder

I have a full size and sample size of Make Up Forever HD Microfinish Powder and it is my HG so this is going to my “gifting” pile stash to add-on to a future makeup kit gift.

MDSolarSciences Mineral Tinted Crème Broad Spectrum SPF 30 UVA-UVB Sunscreen

MDSolarSciences Mineral Tinted Crème Broad Spectrum SPF 30 UVA-UVB Sunscreen

This was in my Amazon Luxury Sun Care Sample Box (see my unboxing review here) and it reminded me to use my $19.99 credit. I digress, this is very light coverage and is nice something something tinted moisturizer with added SPF. And like my initial thoughts of this product when I first met it at the Amazon box, I pinned it correctly when I stated that this product “looks like something that would have been in a BeautyFix subscription box”!

*stops blogging for online shopping at the Amazon*

BeautyFix August 2017

I wanted this for two items and the rest wasn’t exactly gravy but for the two items that retailed for $50 something together that I paid for $20 something it was a steal! And I have been told that I give the best “Curated By Pnut” boxes so what does not work for me works for others. I love the multitasking subscription boxes does for me.

Well you can see I kept it real here lol.

Does your subscription box serve more than one purpose for you?

Great review! I’m glad this box didn’t tempt me at all since I’m on a sub box / beauty product hiatus whilst unemployed. Luckily, I’m more of a selfish keeper than a giver so I have a hoard of products from which to “shop” when I finish up a product. 🙂

UK beauty guru Caroline Hirons is anti-Clarisonic/Luna so I do not use those on ma face, but I like the brush cleaning idea! I also recently got some e.l.f. Brush cleaner wipes but haven’t tried them yet. They seem good for lazy brush cleaning people like me & Subscriptionista!

Thanks Heat! I love “shopping” too!
I hope you are enjoying summer and working on your army stashes because before you know it, you will be employed and saving up for Black Friday 😉
I had to read up on Caroline Hirons. I bet she cringes on microneedling. I think that was in a previous BeautyFix but I held back I not sure about it. I make sure I clean out my Clarisonic head good with each use. That’s what she said.
There is a better and greener way to lazy clean brushes. Sephora has a natural brush spray. Its not marketed well Sephora pushes their non-green versions. Here is the link (FYI there should be a second smaller size sold in store

Hmm this is kind of a week box from them! I almost jumped for the Luna, but I’m glad I didn’t because I wouldn’t use anything else.

I like how your sand jar turned out. Mine is packed away somewhere because I am hoping we’ll eventually move and I don’t have a place for it right now.

See I had FOMO after missing the Luna on last May’s Allure box but it worked out because I think this box is a little less weaker than Allure. Also I got the August Allure box so I can get September’s box (remember how the Allure May box oversold). Point is that FOMO is real with me lol.

My husband helped the Squeakers make me the sand jar. I got purple glitter for the occassion and gave the sand jar to him and told him that is what I want for mother’s day. Although it took a few days for Squeakette to give up the rock 😉
