Ecocentric Mom & Baby Subscription Box is a monthly subscription box for moms and moms-to-be sending five (5) full sized products that are good for you and/or baby, eco-friendly, and useful.
There are four choices of box subscriptions that Ecocentric has:
For the preggers and the majority of the items curates to the mom-to-be. This subscription transitions to the Mom & Baby box after the due date has past.
This box is suggested for moms with newborns through 18 months. This box caters towards the new momma and baby on the outside.
This box is for mom and toddlers up to age 4.
The “me” box.
Spoiler for next month review!!!
For my November Mom & Toddler box and I am getting two (duplicates yes) of that new fancy bee wrapping cloth/paper. It was between that and the most expensive offering (an almost $20 mask set) but then I realized that I had a ton of masks that I can gift away why add two more to the group when I should order something more practical (and a novel gift if I wished to gift them).
Me being practical about subscription boxes amazes me sometimes.
I was actually thinking of ordering another box (either Pregnancy or Mom & Baby) because they had a Aden and Anais swaddle. But then I realized that I have a ton of their swaddles and I really should not be collecting anymore.
I like have an army of Aden and Anais gear. So much it would be like they were in every subscription box quantity Smashbox Primers.
I like Smashbox Primers BTW saves money from repurchasing lol.
I digress, its awesome that I can have two of the same item instead of being forced to get two different items. If you go to the subscription part (my links should directly take you there) and click on which box you want to get the next screen shows you the choices.

Here are the two items I choose for my box this month!
Do you know what is probably more worse than loose assorted tupperware mating in your cabinetry? Sippy and straw cups! I KonMaried that cabinet as I was preparing for this arrival. I only left the toddler cups that I knew that I had the pieces for. That did not leave me with much but there was a ton of toddler cups I threw out. Even though all my walking little Pnut people can all drink out of a cup, its the weeist walker who likes to play with water (and that includes cups of water).
Now the car who has the good toddler cups is another matter to tackle.
Onward on to the box. Here is the insert. Healthy home sounds good let me flip the card.

OMG shut the front door!!! WIll there be BALLS!?! I am pretty sure this means I got balls in ma box! I open the box tissue paper to reveal…

 BALLS!! BALLS!!
Ecocentric Mom – October 2017

Oh wow! Balls in the pouch!

OMG on the pouch! I am TOTALLY going to cut the pouch to size so it says “mom BALLS”
Because Balls.
Did you also notice that the balls are different sizes?
They must be real balls.
Seriously, putting the balls aside, these are awesome for fluffing out your stuff in the dryer and a safer alternative to dryer sheets. I was never ambitious enough but you can also scent your balls with essential oils.
My husband would not approve of scented balls.
Lilac Moon Company Laundry Suds in Citrus
Speaking of scented balls. Here is another item that I am prohibited from scenting the clothes in. Unfortunately after using a non-perfume/fragrance sample detergent from a subscription box, my poor hubby broke out.
Epsom Salt in a laundry detergent? I wonder how that works as a spot treatment. *goes to google*
I no longer need to be jelly of Onderria having Poo-Pouri in a subscription box.
Another item off my subscription box bucket list!
It smells like flowers. Bahahahaha! Like a candied lavender. I really cannot really detect the vanilla but it definitely softens the lavender scent.
Now your poo can really smell like flowers.
My first peek of this pouch and I thought right away I would give this to Squeakette who is obsessed about food pouches.
I never understood the food pouch obsession until Squeakette came into my life.
But I am glad I read it! This will be great hidden from Squeakette for Pipsqueak who has atopic dermatitis.
Did I mention this coconut oil was liquified? Awesome!
BTW I have tried coconut oil in my coffee and it was disgusting. Sorry if you like it but I am happy for you because its healthy. Also try a small swig of coconut oil when you have a sore throat. It works!
And oh my sweetness I can save and subscribe to this via the Amazon!
EEK! We LOVE Sandra Boynton in this home. If someone asked me what a good boardbook series to get, Boynton is my jam! I literally have the majority of her books and am surprised that I did not already have this one. Props to Ecocentric Mom to add a monthly themed book (before the actual holiday) in their boxes!
Moo. Ba. LaLaLa.
Ecocentric Mom and Toddler Box

VERDICT:

It has been a long time but this box has blown me away. I have to say this is the best box I received in 2017! I am not sure it can’t be beat with three months left. I got my poo-pouri checked off my subscription box bucket list. I got liquified coconut oil in a portable and non-spillable pouch. I also have some new toddler cups to replace the ones that I have thrown out. I think Sandra Boynton has the best boardbooks. The Laundry Suds in the fancy blue container will be gifted away.

And I am also trying so hard not to purchase the November Mom & Baby box for the Aden + Anais swaddles. If you need to treat a mom (or mom-to-be), the November Pregnancy or Mom & Baby boxes would be the best box to get and/or gift for the swaddles alone!

Notice my mom balls bag?
