Grove Collaborative Subscription Box Review + Coupon – November 2017

Box: Grove Collaborative (this link gives you $10 and me $10 when you sign up)!

Contents: Curated and/or self-selected eco-friendly products such as Cleaning, Laundry, Hand and Body, Face and Hair, Kids, Scent Free, Oral Care, etc. to ship when you want it (monthly and/or on demand)! Some of the Brands carried are Seventh Generation, Acure Organics, Method, Mrs. Meyers, Molly’s Suds, and house brand Grove Collaborative.

Cost: Price of your items (usually discounted) plus $2.99 shipping (waived if you are a VIP member see more details below).

Kick Back and Get Comfortable:

I LOVE the service that Grove Collaborative offers. Every item that I received was either a promotional free item or discounted. I will keep a lookout for more promos and let you know! Most of the products that I bought were not found on discount via my beloved Amazon. Because I wanted to avoid passing Target and paying $200, we would buy our cleaning products on Home Depot (which were not discounted at all).

We all know how I want to save money in the comfort of my own home.

I found signing up was easy. Grove Collaborative asks a few questions and then curates a box for you. You can then feel free to delete and add items as you wish.

There is a $2.99 shipping charge BUT if you sign up for VIP status, the shipping fee is waived! So while you are shopping look into the VIP trial because you receive free shipping for two months and then you pay $19.99 for a year. In addition to VIP status, you will receive freebies amounting to five (5!) full size items within a year so $19.99 pays for itself in (1) free shipping, (2) five full size items and (3) the already discounted savings on items purchased!!! And if you forget to add the VIP trial to your order (like I did) the VIP trial option appears after you place your first order. And then if you forget that, I am sure the awesome customer service will take of you!

Once you make an order you can set up to change when you want your next delivery and what products you want for that delivery. Grove Collaborative will send advance email reminders and a text reminder (if you give your cell) when a monthly box is scheduled so you can make any modifications to that order. Also a week after you sign up, you will be able to “purchase now” if you need something now.

Note on Customer Service:

Not only is customer service awesome, make sure you look under the customer service representative’s signature because there might be a link with a coupon to one of their favorite products. You know me and codes and coupons.

I also was recently sent an email blast from Grove Collaborative with some points that they wanted their customers to be aware of and if you are not happy with a product they will compensate you! How awesome is that!?!

An other awesome plus is that if there is a promo for new customers, Grove Collaborative usually also rewards continuing customers with a promo as well!

Codes and/or Coupons for new and continuing customers = A Happy and Loyal Pnut

Price Matching Deets:

I noticed when I was stalk tracking my Grove Co box one of their advertisements  on the tracking page was for the VIP program features. One of the features was “price matching”!

Online Price Matching be still my heart!!!

As always, the second weeist of my Pnut people, Squeakette,

wants me to get started on the review

so let us indulge our little assistant!

Yes it is November and yes there is a pumpkin that is bigger than Squeakette in the house. We had awesome Pinterest plans before Halloween to cut open this pumpkin, toast the pumpkin seeds and put Squeakaa in it like we did for Pipsqueak below:

We channeled Anne Geddes for a split second!

So we still have plans to attempt a second baby in the pumpkin but it will be sometime this month. If it turns out ok, I might just post it randomly on Subscriptionista.

And we are back to our regularly scheduled program where Grove Co serves as my Essential Oil Subscription box!

Aura Cacia Grapefruit Essential Oil

Aura Cacia Grapefruit Essential Oil
Mmmmm… I am loving this grapefruit essential oil! I needed a backup because I am actually running low.

Joyful in a bottle indeed!

Radius Vegan Dental Floss in Cranberry

Radius Vegan Dental Floss in Cranberry

As you know, I picked out this floss in boring mint. Boring. So I went back to my regularly scheduled subscription box curation and went back for some cranberry.

I am actually being fancy and festive with my Cranberry dental floss!

Grove Collaborative Review – November 2017

VERDICT:

I love my Grove Co hauls. Simple and sweet. Its like a miniature Amazon Save and Subscribe box. But smaller. And less bulkier. Sometimes size does not matter.

That’s what she said!

Cranberry in a can or for reals? I grew up with canned.

Feel free to discuss your cranberry issues below (or anything random)!

I love the pictures! (Including, but not limited to, Squeakaa’s cameos in your previous reviews.) I have attempted a couple pinterest inspired photos with my wee one and they did not turn out so good.

Canned cranberry. I’ve never had the real stuff. No way it’s as festive as the can shaped glob.

      Thanks LC!

We take a TON of pictures and are lucky if we get a decent one. If you take a ton of pictures then you are more likely to hit a “Pinterest worthy photo”. Eventually. Possibly. *sigh* Also note, we never have gotten a Pinterest worthy Santa photo and probably won’t ever someone or someones are usually not sure about Santa!

      Mmmmm… can shaped glob.

      Thanks for commenting LC! XOXO

I tried them out due to their generous promo, but wasn’t a fan. The Mrs. Meyer’s clean day multipurpose counter spray smelled nice but was useless – for cleaning purposes it got beat out by soap and water. It couldn’t handle anything greasy or sticky at all. The Method wood cleaner I got also did not clean well except for dusting.

My favorite things were the freebie hand soap and glass sprayer bottle which was very high quality. The walnut scrubbers are decent as well.

I only have two Mrs. Meyer’s multipurpose and you are right about the scent. The brand does well with scents but I find hem good for light usage.
I actually am sorry that you found the Method wood cleaner not working well if you have another eco friendly wood cleaner please let me know. I do have to admit that I am using the Method refill for the “squeeze” version into my “spray” bottle so maybe the squeeze version is heavier duty? I usually spray with a heavy hand too because I don’t like to wait “for a product to work”.
I am a big fan of the walnut scrubbers. I was always interested in that beautiful glass spray bottle but worry about breaking it….
