Grove Collaborative Subscription Box Review + Coupon – January 2018

Box: Grove Collaborative (this link gives you $10 and me $10 when you sign up)!

Contents: Curated and/or self-selected eco-friendly products such as Cleaning, Laundry, Hand and Body, Face and Hair, Kids, Scent Free, Oral Care, etc. to ship when you want it (monthly and/or on demand)! Some of the Brands carried are Seventh Generation, Acure Organics, Method, Mrs. Meyers, Molly’s Suds, and house brand Grove Collaborative.

Cost: Price of your items (usually discounted) plus $2.99 shipping (waived if you are a VIP member see more details below).

Kick Back and Get Comfortable:

I LOVE the service that Grove Collaborative offers. Every item that I received was either a promotional free item or discounted. I will keep a lookout for more promos and let you know! Most of the products that I bought were not found on discount via my beloved Amazon. Because I wanted to avoid passing Target and paying $200, we would buy our cleaning products on Home Depot (which were not discounted at all).

We all know how I want to save money in the comfort of my own home.

I found signing up was easy. Grove Collaborative asks a few questions and then curates a box for you. You can then feel free to delete and add items as you wish.

There is a $2.99 shipping charge BUT if you sign up for VIP status, the shipping fee is waived! So while you are shopping look into the VIP trial because you receive free shipping for two months and then you pay $19.99 for a year. In addition to VIP status, you will receive freebies amounting to five (5!) full size items within a year so $19.99 pays for itself in (1) free shipping, (2) five full size items and (3) the already discounted savings on items purchased!!! And if you forget to add the VIP trial to your order (like I did) the VIP trial option appears after you place your first order. And then if you forget that, I am sure the awesome customer service will take of you!

Once you make an order you can set up to change when you want your next delivery and what products you want for that delivery. Grove Collaborative will send advance email reminders and a text reminder (if you give your cell) when a monthly box is scheduled so you can make any modifications to that order. Also a week after you sign up, you will be able to “purchase now” if you need something now.

Note on Customer Service:

Not only is customer service awesome, make sure you look under the customer service representative’s signature because there might be a link with a coupon to one of their favorite products. You know me and codes and coupons.

I also was recently sent an email blast from Grove Collaborative with some points that they wanted their customers to be aware of and if you are not happy with a product they will compensate you! How awesome is that!?!

An other awesome plus is that if there is a promo for new customers, Grove Collaborative usually also rewards continuing customers with a promo as well!

Price Matching Deets:

I noticed when I was stalk tracking my Grove Co box one of their advertisements  on the tracking page was for the VIP program features. One of the features was “price matching”!

Online Price Matching be still my heart!!!

As always, the second weeist of my Pnut people, Squeakette,

wants me to get started on the review

so let us indulge our little assistant!

Those look like guilty grey eyes to me!

It must be because she remembers.

This is our second bottle. Apparently, Squeakette emptied out the first bottle. In the meantime, I was sucking it up with DIY mixes and I am happy to have this back.

Grove Collaborative Hand Sanitizer

Grove Collaborative Hand Sanitizer

Squeakette thinks I have too much hand sanitizer and she may be right. Thanks to YouTube, I been using this Grove Collaborative Hand Sanitizer and a little bit of subscription box makeup glitter to refill my Bath and Body Works hand sanitizers. Also I have these prominent on high traffic and diaper changing areas. It is my favorite hand sanitizer of all time!

Bee’s Wrap in Large

This Bee’s Wrap in Large was my VIP gift! I always wanted to try this out but always chickened out when given the opportunity. It smells like really pleasant beeswax. I think I will need to use this for myself as I think any other member of the family would chuck it after use. I am getting hungry looking at it like some kind of Pavlov’s dog thinking of a impending meal.

VERDICT:

I should have not and regretted not having a Grove Co order last month. December out of all months when I have friends and family over. Plus Squeakette did not have her monthly unboxing and its been tradition. So it’s 2018 and back on the band wagon with Grove Collaborative!

Yes, I just used a walnut scrubbie on my bathroom sink today and thought of you! Nice VIP gift too!

Looks like someone is having a bit of a crazy hair day… but don’t tell her I said that as I don’t want her to be self conscious… still adorable though! 🙂

I am not why you blew my mind but I never thought of using the walnut scrubbie on bathroom sinks! I have been using washclothes or paper towels all this time!
Squeakette has permanent bedhead I am sure of it. It is part of her charm as you noted 🙂

Omg yes but she just looks different! She’s going through a change! Getting all tall and not eating probably. My brother would call that caterpillaring because they’re short and chubby and eat a lot, then they get tall and skinny and aren’t hungry.

Every time I see Grove reviews it just reminds me that I promised myself I’d get this when we lived by ourselves, and every month I get mad because I’m cleaning up after grown adults grrr.

A definite growth spurt although Squeakette still outeats her sisters and still is in the foodie stage where she eats almost everything. Caterpillaring is so cute I have to use that terminology! Caterpillaring definitely applies to puppy-eyed Squeak! lol on this monthly reminder!

After reading your reviews, I’m finally giving them a try, Pnut.

    Squeakette has grown so much!

This is my favorite box ever. The hand sanitizer is the only one that doesn’t make my hands bleed.

Thanks for commenting Ks! It is the best sanitizer ever!

Squeatte is adorable. You always have the cutest outfits for your squeaker. Great review.

Thanks Farmcat from me and Squeakette!

This dress was a thriftstore find. Most of the girls’ clothes come from hand-me-downs, ThredUp, thifting, grandma and once in awhile onsale … rarely if ever full price 😉

        How do you like ThredUp?

        • January 28, 2018 at 9:15 am

I LOVE ThredUP! If you click on my link (do a search and its in a Subless Sunday post) I get credit and you get credit and you can stack that credit with the 40% off first purchase code (THRIFTY40). From that point if you sign up for email notifications codes do get issued on a regular basis. Customer service is good have done returns when stuff doesn’t fit. Stuff stays in your cart for 24 hours you could take off and put it back in to reset. But don’t sell your stuff there its not a good return rate better do that local if that is an option. Hope this helps 🙂

Ohmygosh, she is adorable and getting so big! She still looks like a little peanut compared to the spray bottle, lol.

Thanks LC! She is adorbs and knows it!
