Each week me and the love of my life who is not a cat have been volunteering at the shelter where I was blessed with the love of my life who is a cat.
Before I was a foster mama for them but that fell apart after meeting Sophia and not wanting her to leave ever, so I had to find other way to get involved.
There were so many ways to get involved! We decided (ok I decided) to have us train as Cat Socialization Volunteers… a note, I TOTALLY made up that name because I felt the shelters title of “Cat Petters” lacked the gravitas of my new training and frankly sounded something like a pedo for cats…
This is one of the best parts of my week. I recommend seeing if your local shelter has a program like this because it’s all the fun of a cat cafe with the good feelings of helping a cat become more adoptable. Oh yeah, lets not forget it’s superrrrrrr easy!
Here is a beautiful girl who just got adopted. When you brush her she literally goes sky high air butt! She had this sassy demeanor but was all sugar!
Cute 🙂
Awww! Pretty kitty.
Paws!
I’m just catching up, but I love this post! <3
