This is the coffee after I added 8 ounces of boiled water.

Final product after a five minutes. You can also leave the bag longer if you desire.
VERDICT:
I have been on a search for coffee at home that does not give me heartburn. That usually means instant coffee so I was happy to hear about a coffee subscription via using tea bags. I am a light/medium coffee drinker but wanted to see how the dark roast went (you know, in case the dark roast really meant medium roasted).
It went well. Darkly roasted. Coffee was very smooth and not bitter at all. No heartburn!
I liked Steeped Coffee very much but I think I am going to try either the medium or light roast next before I decide on whether to stay on.
