Subscription Box: Face Mask Alchemy
Cost: $10.88 plus tax (if applicable)
Note: The pamphlet is now smaller and some more deets are found via the Face Mask Alchemy website (direct link to the deets are here). Also based on feedback, Marie reduced the amount of the dry mask which enabled her to keep the price stabilized instead of raising prices due to recent shipment increases.
What You’re Getting: A box from our very own Subista Sista, Mailbox Junkie, who moved forward from blogging to creating a YouTube Channel as And The Color Green. She recently created her own subscription box, Face Mask Alchemy. Marie occasionally still dabbles in subscription boxes but her new love is skincare and masking! Marie also has the assistance of a chemist in creating her curated face masks.
And you can totally see a glow in her skin! She knows what she is doing!

The theme for March 2018’s Face Mask Alchemy is GREENERY!
Greenery was the Pantone color of the year in 2017 and Marie wanted to make the star ingredient for this month Matcha Green Tea!
So if you like Matcha Tea, come and brew a cuppa and mask with me!
Here is what is in Face Mask Alchemy this month!
Checklist: pamphlet, Hawaiian honey stick, face oil, wooden spoon and the cream de resistance mask pot!
SPOON! (The Tick Reference Here)
Hawaiian Bees made this honey for meeee!
Oil Ingredients and Oil Up Close and Personal!
Dry Mask Ingredients:
Dry Mask up close and personal!
Let’s start to mask! I placed some gorgeous huffable matcha tea dry mask goodness on my masking plate.
I used too little mask so I added some more after the below picture.
Here I add some Face Mask Alchemy Greenery Face Oil and Hawaiian Honey Stick to my mix.
And Mask (and swatched)!
Marie was right that this mask differentiates from the prior months masks. This is much more clarifying and I used a face mist shortly after applying and again 5-10 minutes later. Right now the weather in Chi is still in the 20s at night but I would find this mask more enjoyable when it gets hotter! I plan save my leftover mask for the summer when its really hot. Also if you like to mix masks and are low on some of your Face Alchemy Masks, this would be lovely on the T-Zone with using another leftover Face Mask Alchemy on the rest of your face.
I put the oil on post-masking and I will use up this oil very quickly. I like the dominant Moringa Oil scent very much its pleasent and it is my second favorite oil (the previous month was my favorite).
I do recommend you use a dark washcloth to dry off your face post-treatment because the mask wanted to stay on my hairline and eyebrows.
Have any questions about masking and/or random commentary please let us know below!
Disclosure: I get stuff from the mainland to Marie for this box. There are no referral/affiliate links to this post.
