Here are some picts of how I used last week’s Imperfect Order:
Here is an easy Filipino recipe using Imperfect’s Napa Cabbage, Costco Salmon (previously portioned and frozen by moi), and a Sinigang packet (can obtain via an Asian store). Feel free to substitute cabbage, spinach or kale for the vegetable and seafood (particulary shrimp) or meat for the protein. I think tofu could work too! Add some rice of your favorite variety to sop up the soup 😉
let’s go back to this week’s delivery!
Anyways, here is my box!
Ohhhh… Bonus Organic Avocados!!!
I HEART Imperfect Produce. What a surprise to get Organic Avocados as a special bonus item!
Also SHROOMS! Finally! Because I got mushrooms that I would have gotten at a farmer’s market, I feel like I ordered my order via a Farmer’s Market and got my produce to my door. For example, I think of all the farmers markets I have been in the Chicago area, there is only like one mushroom vendor and the prices from Imperfect was lower than any brown bag of mushroom variety they were selling. Seriously, because of Imperfect, my farmer’s market needs are just to obtain fresh farm eggs… oh and this spicy tofu cubes from local Chicago Phoenix Bean and you know I hardly like my noms spicy! One more digression because this stuff is the bomb the recipe is here!!!
I am not even vegetarian but this whole post makes me act like one! Obviously, I get too excited over produce in a subscription box lol 🙂
I love Imperfect Produce because I am making less last waste in the world and I get another subscription box fix that I can customize.
