Grove Collaborative Subscription Box Review + Coupon – August 2019

Grove Collaborative

(NEW) Digression Alert:

I am so amazed that every month Grove Co comes up with new brands and products. For example, if you love Fig, Grove has you covered.

And pumpkin spice and everything nice!

Also I swear that Mailbox Junkie was lauding Kari Gran (I am pretty sure it was that brand) and also Henne that is on Grove.

Like this month was the month for fancy eco beauty items in dark packaging.

Also some new stuff for your Auntie Flo visits from liners, to tampons, to a period panty oh my!

One of the newcomers to battle Auntie Flo is “Sustain”. That Marketing Department has a sense of irony.

Also so many new stuff for your fur baby (including their dental needs)!

You can make a monthly fur baby subscription via Grove!

Lastly, other than cleaning motivation, you can turn your Grove subscription into a monthly tea and/or coffee one!

But I prefer the cleaning motivation. Because human babies.

I digress…

Box: Grove Collaborative (this link gives you $10 and me $10 when you sign up)!

Grove Collaborative

Contents: Curated and/or self-selected eco-friendly products such as Health, Cleaning, Laundry, Hand and Body, Face and Hair, Kids, Scent Free, Oral Care, etc. to ship when you want it (monthly and/or on demand)! Some of the Brands carried are Seventh Generation, Acure Organics, Method, Mrs. Meyers, Molly’s Suds, and house brand Grove Collaborative.

Cost: Price of your items (usually discounted) plus $2.99 shipping (waived if you are a VIP member see more details below).

Kick Back and Get Comfortable:

I LOVE the service that Grove Collaborative offers. Every item that I received was either a promotional free item or discounted. I will keep a lookout for more promos and let you know! Most of the products that I bought were not found on discount via my beloved Amazon. Because I wanted to avoid passing Target and paying $200, we would buy our cleaning products on Home Depot (which were not discounted at all).

We all know how I want to save money in the comfort of my own home.

I found signing up was easy. Grove Collaborative asks a few questions and then curates a box for you. You can then feel free to delete and add items as you wish.

There is a $2.99 shipping charge BUT if you sign up for VIP status, the shipping fee is waived! So while you are shopping look into the VIP trial because you receive free shipping for two months and then you pay $19.99 for a year. In addition to VIP status, you will receive freebies amounting to five (5!) full size items within a year so $19.99 pays for itself in (1) free shipping, (2) five full size items and (3) the already discounted savings on items purchased!!! And if you forget to add the VIP trial to your order (like I did) the VIP trial option appears after you place your first order. And then if you forget that, I am sure the awesome customer service will take of you!

Once you make an order you can set up to change when you want your next delivery and what products you want for that delivery. Grove Collaborative will send advance email reminders and a text reminder (if you give your cell) when a monthly box is scheduled so you can make any modifications to that order. Also a week after you sign up, you will be able to “purchase now” if you need something now.

Grove Collaborative

Note on Customer Service:

Not only is customer service awesome, make sure you look under the customer service representative’s signature because there might be a link with a coupon to one of their favorite products. You know me and codes and coupons.

I also was recently sent an email blast from Grove Collaborative with some points that they wanted their customers to be aware of and if you are not happy with a product they will compensate you! How awesome is that!?!

An other awesome plus is that if there is a promo for new customers, Grove Collaborative usually also rewards continuing customers with a promo as well!

Codes and/or Coupons for new and continuing customers = A Happy and Loyal Pnut

Price Matching Deets:

I noticed when I was stalk tracking my Grove Co box one of their advertisements  on the tracking page was for the VIP program features. One of the features was “price matching”!

Online Price Matching be still my heart!!!

As always, the third weeist of my Pnut people

and the true middle child of the family who demands to be treated as the baby of the family

Squeakette

wants me to get started on the review…

This Month’s Theme is

Inspired By Fellow Subscriptionista Sistas

The blur of excitement!

Like me this evening tearing into my 2 for $20 Glossyboxes!

Squeakette (and the other Squeakers) got their first haircut ever!

Everyone looked older except the baby who looked like he had 1-2 months shaved off his face!

Seventh Generation Baby – Free & Clear Baby Wipes Travel Size – Thick & Strong

Seventh Generation Baby – Free & Clear Baby Wipes Travel Size – Thick & Strong

This purchase was inspired by LC. And my weeist one. You see, he has a crush on this cutie baby. He always flirts with her and she distracts him whilst I change his diaper. This was priced-matched happily by Grove who was more than happy and encouraged me to actually seek out for future price-matches.

Grove you speak my language.

WOW MOMMA!!!

Caldrea – Dish Soap in Ginger Pomelo
Caldrea – Dish Soap in Ginger Pomelo

Caldrea – Dish Soap in Ginger Pomelo

This purchase was inspired by Susie. She originally was lauding Caldrea’s countertop cleaner but naturally I digressed and purchased Caldrea Dish Soap.

I will eventually get to the Caldrea’s countertop cleaner Susie!

I needed a fancy dish soap to motivate me to wash the dishes on occassion.

I like to say that my husband “washes” (he claims he is “rinsing”) the dishes then puts said clean dishes into the dishwasher to which I just say he is “sterilizing washed dishes”.

I digress, this fancy dish soap smells great (I huffed all the scents I still had and Ginger Pomelo won) and cleans great! I think I will re-order another Caldrea when I run out unless something else strikes my fancy.

Again, I need to make cleaning fancy in order to actually do something like clean.

Grove Collaborative – Kids Foaming Hand Soap Concentrate in Pineapple
Grove Collaborative – Kids Foaming Hand Soap Concentrate in Pineapple

Grove Collaborative – Kids Foaming Hand Soap Concentrate in Pineapple

This was inspired by Onderria! Not only does Grove now have Foaming Hand Soap for the littles, they also have it in “non-kid” scents such as “Lavender & Thyme”, and “Lemon Eucalyptus & Mint” and “Free & Clear”.

Because kids are not free nor clear.

I am loving this! As soon as my Mickey Mouse foaming dispensers that I bought en masse via the Amazon croak on me, I might end up buying one of Grove’s pumping dispensers.

I wanted to get an automated foam dispenser but then re-thought of the mess that one or more of my Squeakers would have happily getting foam soap for 100 uses instead of 1.

Grove Collaborative

VERDICT:

I am really happy with this month. I also think its special because it reminds me of all you wonderful people in my subscription box community that I adore!

I’d like to thank the subscription box community…

I smile at the Seventh Generation Wipes most of all. It is such a treat actually having this! I usually use half-empty full size wipes or one of those 10 wipe samples. Plus it’s my baby boy’s crush on the packaging!

I digress, I love this month’s Grove. Perfect curation by Pnut.

Maybe its because I choose what I want for my box and I love spoilers.

Grove Co = My monthly cleaning motivation.

Because even Amazon Save & Subscribe doesn’t motivate me.

I placed an order last week. I’m waiting to see what “Spiced Fig” smells like! I had no idea they had automatic foam soap dispensers! I try to to look around the site too much, because I have a habit of putting everything in my cart. But, I’m going to get one. I’ll just hide it when the grandkids come over! Speaking of which, 5 of them spent the night last night. It’s 6:16am and we’ve been up 2.5 hours. They were all sleeping in another room, the 2 year old gets up, comes in our bedroom and pokes me in the eye to wake me up!! I scream like a banshee because I thought I was being killed by a short intruder. She screamed louder. All the Ws (my four miniature Dachshunds) joined in the screaming/barking. Now I have 5 kids, 4 dachshunds, 1 Labrador and 1 irate husband all up. Sigh. So, im making lots of cinnamon rolls and bacon to fill them up before their parents come get them. Then I’m going back to bed!!

That wake up call isn’t funny now but will be in a few weeks!
Cinnamon rolls and bacon sounds delicious! I wish I can make cinnamon rolls the only ones I can make and like are the Pillsbury Cinnabon ones! We are having Kodiak pancakes because one of the Squeakers made a request and Subscriptionista reccomends the brand.
Thank you for commenting and sharing your unexpected wake up service morning with us 🙂

If poking someone in the eye resulted in bacon and fresh cinnamon rolls, I think I’d be tempted to do it again!

That’s amazing. I also got that same soap with the yellow stars cutout cover! And fig soap the acorn one isn’t great to my nose though.

ONDERRIA!!!! *Hugs* I love that yellow foam soap dispenser but my Squeakers can be random chuckers. Still have some plastic dispensers to go through but I am eyeing it enjoy!

He likes the baby on the package? That’s so cute! We usually buy the wipes by the case from Amazon. My other half buys them, but I assume it’s a good price. I haven’t looked at the Grove website lately, but it looks like I should check it out again. I’m trying to catch up on the past posts. I’ve got quite a few to read.

Little dude digs baby chicks lol!

I usually get those big packages in the box case via Amazon on their Prime days there is usually a coupon for Seventh Generation and Babyganics products. Grove Co price matches that travel size package.

Thanks for reading and commenting hope your little dude is doing well!
