Taco Bout It Tuesday: School Is Starting Featuring Imperfect Produce

Disclosure: A non-taco mini review is forthcoming in this posting!

That is what I am telling myself by forsaking blogging after midnight so I can get some shuteye.

Which does not really work out if you have a tiny human that wants to play for 5 minutes then sleep for 10 minutes only to get up again and fall asleep because its the wee hours of the morning and he too is not an early bird.

I digress, if I blog about it, maybe it will get the ball rolling on all these pictures I have accumulated on the Subscriptionista media library.

I got some noms to review too!

So recently I got back on the Imperfect Produce wagon (this link gives you $10 and me $10 when you sign up)!

Imperfect Produce has totally improved into not just getting discounted produce but becoming a discounted Whole Foods/Paycheck Pantry! I got a huge order but in order to do a review I plan on just posting one or two item(s) at a time every once in a while.

Which brings me to this posting. I know that this is a Taco Bout It Tuesday post, but this one has me perplexed. I don’t want my comeback Imperfect Produce posting to be a polarizing item. But it HAS to be my first Imperfect Produce item review because I am most obsessed about it!

Tacos can be polarizing. For example, I like but I really do not know how I should feel about fish tacos for example.

I digress, I am also planning for snacks for my Squeakers and I was the only one who liked this after a few bites.

Noted that I wrote “liked this after a few bites”… Should I have made them eat more than one bite?

I digress and tease, here is the item.

Made In Nature: Veggie Pops in Broccoli Chedda
Made In Nature: Veggie Pops in Broccoli Chedda

Made In Nature: Veggie Pops in Broccoli Chedda

It’s not a spelling error (or is it) but Cheddar is spelled Chedda.

Maybe they ran out of space and the graphic designer just decided to play it off.

Ok, so if you like and eat healthy food, I think you are going to love this.

It’s so healthy and its really yummy and addicting to boot!

And if you don’t, your first taste would likely be like WT!?!

But I implore, keep nomming. I don’t like wasting food just ask my waistline :/

The more I nommed this, the more I loved it.

But I was conflicted. Didn’t this taste like “too healthy” at the first bite for my tastes?

And I kept thinking, would I re-purchase this?

“Yes!” “No what’s with you Pnut no one else liked it in your zoo!?!” “Yes I think I need this in my life!”

Verdict:

Like anyone that has trigger-happy fingers at the last few minutes of a timed sale *cough* FabFitFun *coughs*, I would likely get this if I logged on in the last few minutes before my Imperfect Produce‘s window closes.

Which is why I do my best to stop going back a few hours before online sale windows close.

How much damage can one do within the last five minutes of a sale?

That was a rhetorical question right?

Okay, that’s definitely an interesting snack. I would *never* have picked it up if I saw it in the store, but if you swear it’s good, maybe I’ll keep an eye out for it. Maybe…
