Darby Smart Review – May 2015

Darby Smart is a DIY (do it yourself) subscription that seeks to bring you a little craft project each month to thrill you and take the hassle out of crafting. How? By providing you all the materials and directions for each project!

Personally there are a lot of reasons why this box appeals to me. The largest are I hate to shop at craft stores and feel the experience is like getting a deep dental clean, and I only look up crafts when I feel like crafting. By the time I get everything I need and have everything together I run out of free time.

Well we all know what this box is!

Instructions can be found online by entering the code given. I wish they would just print out the instructions and include them in the box because it is safe to say for most crafts people are going to peep the directions.

This project looks super easy to do and the instructions are step by step. This makes me feel like I can actually do this without crying in anguish.

This is my favorite box so far! I really love this idea and it looks super easy. I can see myself putting together some really thoughtful gifts. Also if I decide to become a blackmailer I could really change the game by putting the incriminating material on whimsical wooden items. It would send the message that not only do I have pics you don’t want seen, but I have the skills to put them out there in that hardcore Martha Stewart style that should and will send shivers down your spine.

Some people on Facebook were saying that they were sad the box was so empty and that they felt like they did not get a deal. I can see their point of view but I respectfully disagree because I would never have tried attempting this project without this kit.

It’s been a long day. I read it as Darby a “Smart Review”. This looks like a great box. I liked it better when the instructions were included with the box.

LOL Well, im not saying it is a dumb review…

They are getting complaints about the box but this was so much better then the last few. I want to use the fancy woodworking box you gave me and this to make something AWESOME.

love the review! though I want to see what you do with it, other than blackmailing people lol. They need to put in the directions, that always is hard. I am now so far behind on craft kits…..

I am trying to not think of this, don’t want to get my hopes up too high. But I am really curious to see what they send if anything…
