Fabletics Review – June 2015

Fabletics is a fitness clothing subscription that offers stylish work out fits for both men and women. I have found the quality to be very good for the price and I like that the outfits have a lot of style. There is always an interesting option, and while subscribers can easily skip a month, I rarely do.

Fabletics has also launched a more sporty clothing line meant to be worn around town. Was I not supposed to wear my work out stuff around town? I only ask because I do. All. The. Time. Indeed, the only time I regretted it was when I was using the elevator after going out to feed upon a large serving of frozen yogurt and someone asked me if I had just gone for a run. Ummm no, not unless running = big tub of frosty goodness!

I skipped last month because I went crazy and bought some other boxes and haven’t been working out as much as I should. It is a whole rabbit hole of guilt we won’t get into here!

Yay Fabletics came!

Well look at this!

Taylor Tank II: I decided to pick this top because I have nothing like it and I thought the back looked pretty cool. I sized down because tops tend to run  a little larger. It fit great and will most definitely show the bra underneath so I will not be wearing this around town. Well, not unless I am doing some sort of art piece where I play a fish caught in a net.

Where is the Taylor Tank 1? Is it ok?

Salar Capri: I love the pants! Fabletics pants all seem to have the little hidden pocket in the front so that if you are going  for a run or whatever you can put your key in your pants and go. I am all about hands free! The pants do a great job at compressing my jiggles and the material is a great quality. They have withstood washing without any trouble and I own several colors.

How cool would it be if humans had pouches? I would never loose my keys!

Verdict:  Fabletics is one of my favorite subscriptions! My outfit this month cost $49.95 and the quality and style are on point. Most importantly my outfit this month is comfortable. I think cute outfits that are also functional can be motivation to go work out. I am not saying I have put on make up to go stairclimb, but a treat every so often makes a getting fit a little more fun!

Disclosure: If you sign up through my referral  link you get 50% off your first outfit and $10 is put into my account.

I LOVE salad pants, they are the best fitting and wear well. I just don’t quite get the back of that top, though a fish would be about right 🙂

I will work up the courage one of these days to put on the clothing so you can see better. The back just kinda hangs. It looks pretty cool. I put it on wrong the first time and honestly felt like I was caught in a net!

That tank top looks complicated, cool, but too many places for my arms.

Wear a black bra and don’t worry. All the women wear their workout clothes at kids events, errands, etc. I’m the odd one out. Sometimes I feel I should subscribe to Fabletics to be more trendy. I don’t think that the women realize what the tight workpants do to teenage boys. In the beginning it was more like Mom, I can see the whole shape of her butt, how embarrassing. Now it is more along the lines of Wow! He does his best to be respectful, but sometimes it is hard when it is right in front of you in all its glory, hiding nothing.

I should add that I live in a very fit area. Gyms/studios everywhere, very few bakeries (I had a hard time finding one for my wedding cake), . Common mom talk is upcoming marathons etc. Sadly, I am not as fit. I also eat my meal when dining in restaurants. I am a weirdo out here.

I am a weird eater. I did not grow up with a real sense of portion size or nutrition. I don’t blame my Mom because she was super busy working and didn’t grow up with knowing about that stuff either. I am trying to get more fit but I am awesome at making up reasons why I won’t work out. I DID go to Pilates today so that was good.

LOL I like that you eat your meals. I don’t know how weird it would be to be around those type of women who don’t eat. I would feel so weird!

I will rock the black bra I guess and hope no one is talking about me behind my back. Though if they are, they probably have a lot worse things to made fun of then my bra hahaha

LOL I know a group of guys who I grew up with and they were all about the yoga pants on chicks. I always tell them how gross they are. I say women wear them to be comfortable not to look good for the likes of them!

Fabletics has made my work out stuff WAY more trendy. I used to just buy stuff from Ross or TJ Maxx, but often the styles are not as nice and while cheaper the quality isn’t always there. Fabletics really has good quality well though out stuff. I really think it is one of my top favs!
