Acure Organics is a family own and run company that carefully select ingredients for their products. I can’t do the company justice in a short blog. Click here to learn more about the company. Danielle Messina, the Glamorganic Goddess and friend of Acure Organics, has been diagnosed with secondary recurrence of breast cancer at the age of 37. 100% of the Glamorganic Goddess Beauty Kit goes to Danielle Messina’s GoFundMe campaign.
Subscription: Acure Glamorganic Goddess Beauty Kit – one time purchase
Cost: $19.99
What to Expect: The box includes Facial Cleansing Gel (Sample), Facial Scrub (Sample), Facial Toner (full size), Argan Oil (full size), Day Cream (sample), Lip Balm, and Argan Oil Facial Towelettes. Products vary upon availability.
This is my second box. I plan to order one box per month as long as it is available.
UPS dropped off the box unharmed to my front door.
Do I see dark chocolate mint?
Unscented Argan Oil Cleansing Towelettes: I’m happy that these are unscented. I use them on hot days in the sun. I haven’t finished my first package yet because there has been no warmth or sun.
Acure must know Subscriptionista! It’s perfect for people who are too lazy to wash their face.
Facial Toner Balancing Rose & Red Tea: Toners are rare in sub boxes. Sadly, I can’t use this because of the rose and witch hazel. The packaging is beautiful.
Balancing rose & red tea gives me flashbacks to math when it started having more letters than numbers.
Moroccan Argan Oil: This is a one ingredient product that works wonders on hair, body, dry skin, and nails. My hair loves Argan oil. My only issue with Argan Oil is that it smells like dirty diapers.
Not tonight honey, you smell like stinky diapers.
Dark Chocolate & Mint Argan Oil: I’m excited to see this in my box. It smells like dark chocolate & mint. Even better it contains Organic Chocolate Flavor Oil, Organic Peppermint, and Organic Spearmint.
What else can I write? It’s dark chocolate and mint lip balm!
A trio of wonderful facial products that are gluten-free, sulfate free, paraben free, and cruelty free.
You know a company is truly ahead in its research when spell-check insists that most of the words you write are spelled wrong.
Verdict: This box is a win for me. I love Acure Organic products and can use most of their product line. I usually recognize the ingredients and can pronounce them! Read the packaging. Often it has short blurbs about the ingredients or funny sayings on it.
On a more serious note, I know women in my 30s and 40s with breast cancer. It’s not often that in our pursuit of subscription boxes we can make a difference in someone’s life. It’s wonderful to see the human side of a company that cares about people.
Love this review!!!
Omg I’m lucky if I’m not to lazy to open the package, take out a face wipe, AND then close the package back up after. Life is so… Tedious no? 😉
If you drank you could always whip out your lip balm when someone questions if you really need that last glass of wine… “Ummm yes… I’m pairing it with a chocolate lip balm!”
You need to be writing these reviews! I would had never thought of the drinking tag!
Lol see we make a team! Honestly now I’m super excited to visit my own site to see if you posted!!! I swear I’ll get something out tonight or tomorrow! I got the new beauty fix box and it is sooooo terrible….
Yes, we do! I can’t wait to read the new beauty fix view.
Also I love you posted the donation page and stuff. Really cool of you!
Wonderful review and chocolate mint lip balm, woot! For facial cleansing, I love my clarisonic, I use it in shower. Thank You.
Thank you, Kelly. I have a clarisonic and haven’t use it yet. I should.
SubElla, please let us know how it works. it cured my middle aged acne.
Omg I have adult acne!!! I hardly ever had bad skin in before.
I am going to have to get a clarsonic! I actually have some rotating brush from Olay, can’t use their products. Wondering if that would do as well
I need to find my clarsonic and use it!
Yes, acne and wrinkles at 53 y.o., no bueno.
I will cry if I end up with acne and rosacea in my 50s. It’s possible 🙁
