It’s a beautiful day outside. The sun is shining, and the birds are tweeting. I wanted to share some subscription box news that may be important to you.
Burke Decor Whole Home and Spa Boxes:
1. I confirmed with Burke Decor that their shipping model has changed. This is from their website, “First box ships out at the end of the month in which it is purchase.”. Gone are the days where you can read a review and order the same box a few weeks later. I understand why they changed it because it can be hard to predict demand.
All boxes, including one time and first-time orders will ship at the end of the month. Here’s an example: All boxes ordered from July 1-July 31st will receive the box shipping at the end of the month. Orders placed on August 1st and later will receive the box shipping at the end of August.
2. I noticed this disclaimer that I did not recall seeing before. **The profiles of each box may vary and subscribers are not guaranteed specific items throughout any given box shipment cycle. Burke Decor that “scents, colors, and patterns may vary per box“.
1. I received an email from Goodeboxe last night.
First and foremost, we’d like to thank you for being a Goodebox Member. We value you as a customer and are grateful for the privilege of bringing you the finest healthy beauty has to offer. We sure hope you are enjoying your latest Goodebox too.
We’re writing today to let you know that as of August 1, 2015, we are implementing a very small price increase of $2.00 per month to your current membership plan. The reasons for this price increase have to do with the the real cost of doing business, including:

An increase in shipping costs

Including larger, more deluxe product sizes

Increasing the level of customization for each member

Launching the Goode Rewards program where members earn points toward free products
We hope this is an understandable and acceptable change as we constantly work to make the service the best it can be and that you continue to see the value that your Goodebox service provides.
The price change is reflected in my Goodebox post. I am excited about increased customization and larger, more deluxe products.
2. The Goodebox ANFGB Box 3 will be on sale today at 8 am PDT, 11EDT for $145.00 including shipping. All items are listed. I noticed the box said sold out. My guess is that it will switch over to Buy Now at the correct time. Click here for my Goodebox ANFGB Box 1 Part 1.

I really want to try Happy Mail but their cancellation policy has scared me off. If someone knows and please correct me if I am wrong but it seems you have to pay to cancel? Also I have read comments where it is hard to cancel as well. I wish they offered a one time box. Loving your reviews and all the animal pictures too!

Wow! That is some cancellation policy. It sounds like that there is a short window for cancellation without a fee from the 11th to the 25th. I am guessing they run subscriber numbers on the 26th to determine how much to print or order which is why there is the cancellation fee. This is pure speculation. I don’t like complicated cancellation policies especially when they are hard to cancel.
Any subscribers that want to share their experiences?

Thanks for the post wondered why my Burke Box has not shipped yet. This should be interesting I wonder whether I will get the salt/pepper shakers box (my first box was the “bowl envy” box).
Sigh. The “bowl envy” box. Lets us know what is in your next box. I like Burke Decor and think it has the potential to be a great subscription.
