From what I can gather Petit Vour is run by two bunny rabbits who, sick with the cosmetics world being cruel to their kind, decided to start their own subscription box that promotes cruelty-free vegan beauty items. These same bunny rabbits hold out the hope that you will “Be Bold. Be Kind.”
These same bunny rabbits will not confirm nor will they outright deny that the Easter Bunny actually hides colored treat filled eggs year round. I know better of course because I can read all the signs!
Ok, I made up the part of the bunny rabbits because life is more fun when filled with whimsy. Still, with or without savvy fluffy heroes I decided to sign up for $15 a month. I signed up for 6 months
The theme this month was all about glowing! I am glowing from the fact that I am on my fourth beer of the day!
Juara – Clove Flower & Turmeric Serum: This serum sounds so granola crunchy but there is a real proven science behind using turmeric to fight inflammation. Turmeric also tastes super good. Yum yum serum in my belly… wait… no. Serum on my face! I usually dislike smaller samples that I can’t close but I can get a few uses from each little packet and it feel it is a fair and eco friendly way for me to try it out.
I am pretty sure I could put this in a cocktail and pass it off as super artisanal…
Modern Minerals – Tea Rose Finishing Glow: I really REALLY like this product. It is perfect for a subtle glow over my foundation. I keep my foundation for daily wear pretty light. I wear a tinted sunscreen, and now I will be using this because it gave me a little glow that looked natural. Like, without it on I am normal. With in on I look like I eat salads and drink a lot more water than I do. Sweet!
I wonder if there is a glow that will also make me look smarter
Mychelle Dermaceutiicals – Fruit Enzyme Scrub: I just saw this at Whole Foods where I was hoping to score some Wifi to write this review and drink huge $1.99 beers while doing so. Their internet was not working which was awkward because I had to put my beer back and find a place I could both drink, and write my box musings!
This brand is pretty natural and I dig fruit enzymes because I always like to exfoliate. I have not opened this yet but I have read promising reviews. This bottle is pretty big so I can see this lasting for a long time!
The place I settled on does NOT sell $1.99 beers…sigh….
Yarok Feed Your Shine Hair Serum: This hair oil promises a lot on in the card. It is supposed to absorb quickly into the scalp and hair as well as bring out my the “inner sheen” and “contrasting highlights” they so optimistically believe my hair must have. It does not. I bleach the life out of my hair and if Yarok Hair Serum were to feed anything it would be the inner rage my hair must feel at having to go through such torture for scant results in the beauty or style department.
I am going to feed Sub Bella’s curls with the bonus sample they gave me!
Verdict: A solid box at the price point I am impressed that these little rabbits always deliver with brands I have not had a chance to try! I am also happy that they stuck with their theme because I like to glow. I mean ya know, in a natural way. So far this box blows other natural beauty product boxes at the same price point away!

I have a question about the Modern Minerals. Do you apply it like blush or all over your face? Your review peaked my interest so I just ordered the sample size to try but I can’t seem to find how to use it. Thank you!
I did it just on my cheeks, nose ridge, and a light light light sweep of middle forehead and chin. Sorta like a bronzer. But you could use this to highlight your browbone as well. For my skin tone (light) over a tinted BB cream it looks like a natural healthy glow but not tanner. I go really light to try to pretend I woke up refreshed and not like a cat woke me up twice by walking on my face and meowing! 😉 let me know what you think!

hahahaha love that! Dogs are harder because they won’t just give up and cuddle usually (they need to get up to pee after all) My cat will sometimes let me win for a little and we will just cuddle up! Still it is just a fight a nice little luminous glow is needed!
I used the Modern Minerals Tea Rose Glow today and I love it! It is just a touch of color which is perfect! They also gave me a free sample of Sunrise Finishing Glow because the shipping/order was delayed. Great company! Once my sample is gone I will definitely be ordering a full size of the Tea Rose!
I’m so glad you like it because I love it as well! The little bit of color makes it so natural looking! Also it’s harder to make a bleary eyed morning mistake and apply too much lol

Haha, I love this review. I had no idea Whole Foods had $1.99 beers! We still don’t have power in my neighborhood [giant windstorm], but maybe they do. I need somewhere to do my homework and potentially write a blog post. Somewhere with Wi-Fi AND beer sounds nice… hey, every day is Friday when you’re unemployed!
PS: My cat also likes to wake me up with a butt to the face, by licking my eyebrow, or by knocking my glasses off my nightstand.
Make SURE they have the wifi up though lol It is great to post up there because cheap drinkin’ and there is plenty to snack on! Like, yes I WILL pair this burrito with a slice of pizza!
