Sunshine Crate Accessory Review – August 2015

Disclosure:  The box was paid for by me. There are no affiliate links.

I’ve been searching for smaller subscription box companies that our readers will find interesting. I came across Sunshine Crate and decided to try it out.  I noticed that there were accessory crates available and decided to purchase one when I saw the spoiler.

Subscription: Sunshine Accessories Crate

Price: $25.00 plus $5.97 shipping. I paid by PayPal.

What to Expect: I’m not sure if the accessories crate is released every 2 weeks. I’m guessing that the main item is spoiled with additional items added.

I placed my order on August 23rd, received my tracking number on August 24th, and my package on August 27th. I experienced an unusual problem with my package that wasn’t the owner’s fault and wasn’t quite USPS fault. I emailed her and received a response quickly. The issue was quickly resolved, and a replacement elephant tote was sent to me. It was a fast,  efficient response. I had no issues with my Clothing Crate and whole-heartedly recommend Sunshine Crate to our readers.

I saw the bag as the spoiler and knew I had to buy it for my 16-year-old son. He collects elephants and has taken excellent care of his elephant collection since he was little. I could only see the front of the bag when I purchased the accessory crate.  I was pleasantly surprised to see that it has a zipper and is lined.

Thank you Sunshine Crate, for picking a tote with a neutral liner. It would had been a hard sell to my teenager if the liner was floral.

Everything came wrapped in plastic bags to protect it during shipping. The wallet has a fun summertime theme and zippers.

I feel like I should be at the beach enjoying myself.

My neighbors think I am strange for photographing my items while the cats watch.

Gold Canyon Tealight: Gold Canyon is a direct-sale company. The candle I received has a strong berry scent.

I like the necklace design especially the flower.

I find flowers to be beautiful.

My young assistant ate the candy. Down with Dirty Perfectly Posh is a lavender watermint lotion bar. It had a wonderful scent and rubbed in easily into the skin. It currently has a Halloween themed line. It appears to be a direct sales company that also allows you to order off their website. Share if anyone knows more.

I can be won over with lavender.

The bracelet is a fun bracelet. I would have enjoyed this when I was younger.

I feel old.

Perfect timing. I will use the chalk marker on the chalkboard tags I received from Dottie Mega Box.

I still hate the chalkboard candle that came in an October subscription box last year.

The belt will rock the right outfit or dress. It has a bow on it. I may pass it off to my sister because she can pull off the look. My pumpkins are ready early this year.

The wrong type of weather for this time of year is giving a beating on my flowers and garden. I need beautiful scenery for my pictures!

I was surprised by the amount of items included in the accessory tote. It was more than I expected especially after seeing the tote spoiler had a zipper and is lined.

Verdict: I bought the crate because of the tote spoiler. I see everything else as an extra. I do not know if the accessory totes are curated when . during the sale. My son loves his elephant tote. I like the wallet, necklace and chalboard marker. I may give the bracelet and belt to my sister. I do not know if the accessory crate is curated to your preference when bought during a sale.

HaHa!! (For the first 2 comments on this thread! :))

That elephant bag is really nice! And the lemon wallet is adorable. Thx for reviewing this one.

I find flowers to be beautiful too – I should send you some pictures we took when we went to England in June…. The roses are ridiculous!

i love that wallet! i used the chalkboard candle in work’s white elephant last year, it was weirdly fought over.

I should do something like that with the candle.

I love the tote and the wallet! The necklace is pretty neat too. I would use that wallet in the winter – all that dreariness calls for a bright little surprise!
