I’m subscribed to Hero Crate’s newsletter which gives a hint to the upcoming month’s theme. I noticed October’s theme and had to purchase it for my son. We have purchased Hero Crates in the past and been satisfied with them. HeroCrate was started by two brothers in 2014. The company is veteran owned and operated.
Subscription: Hero Crate
Cost: $29.99/monthly, $80.97/3 months, $155.94/6 months, $299.88/yearly – free shipping!
What to Expect: Items and an exclusive t-shirt centered around a hero.
Notes: A single crate is available for purchase here. Once upon a time, this is how everyone purchased the crates.
I love Hero Crate slogans.
First look inside the box.
T loved opening a box full of Wolverine items. Wolverine is his favorite superhero.
I can’t help, but laugh at the poster. The whole family finds it to be humorous.
I have days where I feel like this.
Wolverine Soft Touch Keyring: T is going to attach his Deadpool Key Holder to the Wolverine keyring. He can’t wait.
I did not know you could mix and match SuperHeroes, Villains, and Anti-Heroes.
Wolverine Adamantium Magnet: Adamantium is the metal in Wolverine’s body. T loves this magnet because of the claw marks.
I see a magnet. T sees the torment that Wolverine experiences about what happened to his body.
Wolverine Pop Figure: T felt it was a good inclusion for the box although he already own it.
J is not complaining about building up his Pop Figure collection.
It made J’s day to receive two Funko Pop figures in one day.
Marvel Wolverine Small Recycled Shoppers Tote: T plans to use this in the car to hold a school book and a snack on trips.
He agrees with their selection of images for the bag.
T likes receiving adult items in the boxes.
Ript Apparel Wolverine T-Shirt: T is all kinds of excitement over this print. It’s all in the details that he wanted his mom to type up. Mom is tired after a long day! The t-shirt is based on Days of the Future Past, but more on the comic than the movie according to T. Wolverine is ready to fight the Sentinels.
My interpretation of the shirt was that there were souped up Iron Man robots attacking Wolverine. Apparently, I am wrong.
It is details like this that makes the shirt.
T did not know the word or the meaning of the letters. Does anyone know what it says?
ETA: Who is Wolverine? He’s Hugh Jackman. Wolverine was born with bone claws and an accelerated healing rate. The same agency that experiment on Deadpool also took Wolverine. They inserted adamantium into his bones including his claws making him indestructible and accelerated his healing rate, so it was faster than before. He works with the X-men and the Avengers. He has a hard time keeping his girlfriends because he kills them by accident with his claws. His claws come out at night when he has nightmares. The joke is that Batman is the only one that can match Wolverine in girlfriends’ deaths. Tidbit – Wolverine does not like Deadpool’s sense of humor.
Verdict: Wolverine is T’s favorite superhero. He went as Wolverine to a teenaged cosplay event last week. He is very happy with the items in the box and enjoys receiving items that can be used in everyday life.

Cool shirt!
He still wasn’t feeling the best. He was giving me way too much information about the details of the shirt. There’s tons of details in there.
haha this reminds me of the time in a geology debate class where the prof had to remind us that he understands that we are not experts and will be fudging some of our debate data, but claiming that the alaskan pipelines will be made out of adamantium in order to prevent spills was too far.
I told my teenager who loved it!!!
T-Shirt says “Attack on the Future” according to the shirts designer.
Thank you so much!!!
