In Real Life: A Brisk Autumn Day

I noticed on Saturday that my older son and I were wearing a few items from subscription boxes. It was in the low 40s and windy!

Bespoke Unbuttoned
Steel Blue Chambray from Bespoke Unbuttoned

My teenager wore his other button down shirt from Bespoke Post Unbuttoned. I forgot that i purchased two Unbuttoneds for him. He is hoping that Bespoke Post will restock the shirts this winter. I’m not allowed to show his face in case his friends ever find this blog.

The faux pocket is what makes the shirt in his eyes. I noticed the thread hanging. I attribute that to a teenager washing all his clothes together regardless of washing directions and not to the quality of the shirt. I’m glad that he washes his own clothes. My husband’s Bespoke Post shirts look amazing.

Braclet
Rivka Friedman Cuff from 5th Avenue

The Rivka Friedman Cuff is from the 5th Avenue Style Deluxe Box. I found that the cuff moved around on my wrist. It turned sideways a couple of times and almost came off my wrist. My arms reflect the physical labor that I have done for years on the farm. I do not see how the cuff would stay on someone with a slight built.  Do my cuticles look dry?

Jacket from Relish Clothing Box

It was a windy day! I had a hard time finding a couple of pictures where my hair wasn’t blowing all over the place. The jacket has a grey hood that matches the grey sleeves. The jacket is from my second Relish Clothing Mystery Box. I should write that review.  My hair looks lifeless in the picture and is windswept.  🙁

Having fun with the camera.

You do not need a large picture of a woman in her 40s with rosacea. It’s giving me anxiety posting a tiny picture 🙁  Usually I am smiling! My face looks puffy. I have an advanced stage of rosacea that causes skin thickening. It used to be worse. Let’s see how long I keep the photo up LOL.  I look a little silly leaning backwards.

Strike a pose! It’s a beautiful picture! Don’t take it down. I can’t see a single flaw in your complexion so the tiny picture and sunglasses must be doing their job… or you’re too critical of yourself. (Aren’t we all though?) I love that shirt with the fall colored flowers!

The other day I wore my “Supernatural” T-shirt from Fanmail. (Not the same day I wore the necklace…) I also used the Palmetto scrub from October BoxyCharm yesterday – good exfoliation.

I second that Sub Bella is too critical of herself. Sub Bella, I love both pieces on you!

Artemis – Thank you! I’ve worked hard on my rosacea over the past year.

Heat7918- Thank you for the compliment. Yay on wearing your shirt. I’m assuming you had no problems with the scrub.

I could feel something (not a tingling or a burning… not bad, but a mild something?) so I started to worry it might cause redness like it did for Liz on MSA. But ultimately, no redness for me beyond the normal pink from actually using a washcloth on my face – which I don’t do often. But my skin isn’t sensitive to any products that I know of…

Onderria – Thank you. My natural hair color was very dark brown with red highlights. Now it is mostly gray. I color it.
