What To Expect:

BeautyDNA Matchup
BeautyDNA Matchup

You fill out a profile. Then BeautyDNA matches you to one of their products that match your profile. It is like dating but with beauty products that you are stuck with for better or worse. The profile is pretty intense and specific and you can be as picky as you want and BeautyDNA will always deliver you a product! So if you do not want parabens, sulfates, cat hair (well not cat hair) you check your preference (which are Yes, No, No Preference, I believe were the options).

Pnut Has Been Matched!

In general, I noted no on all the yucky stuff, and yes to all the fancy marketing ingredients with the exception of retinol which is a no no for pregnancy and I believe nursing (better safe than sorry from someone who got pregnant while nursing a very wee one and pumping) . It does make me feel a little bad though because retinol really rocks. So if you are not planning on having wee ones in the future and really want to have those wrinkles minimize, I suggest something with retinol. I used a Neutrogena one with SPF 15 back in the day and I DID see results.

I digress, this is what I got:

Elysee Scientific Cosmetics: Firmance Pycnogenol Firming Serum

Allegedly retails for $65.

This is sold via HSN. I am not happy because my first item was a QVC item, and I wrote on the comments that I did not want any infomercial/QVC/HSN products. Nothing really against QVC and HSN. I would just prefer the rush of calling an order when it is featured on TV. Well that is a fantasy. I buy stuff online on occasion the TV remote has been missing for 5 days now.

I can not give this to Sub Bella because she has fair skin complexion (and her fair skin dislikes the aloe vera).

FIRMANCEd
FIRMANCEd

The serum applied like water it felt nice. The color is off-putting, but it did say it matched my medium/olive complexion even though it was not tinted?!? I did not detect any scent. It sank in quickly and was a little sticky. I had to put moisturizer because I felt parched.

I have been FIRMANCEd by BeautyDNA!

And this is the RueLaLa extra:

Glytone Cleansing Gel
Stripped

Glytone Cleanse Mild Gel Wash

This felt nice being applied. I did not detect a scent. I thought it was great for a few seconds after I towel dried. Then I felt parched. I must save this for when I have makeup on it should be able to strip away more than my natural skin oils.

I have been stripped by BeautyDNA!

Verdict: BeautyDNA is $25 a month but sometimes codes and/or deals float so I would suggest waiting for those for a better value if you want more bang for your buck.

This may be me, but I am thinking that BeautyDNA is offloading excess inventory on coders as many subscription commentators in other forums with codes note that most of the products can be bought under the retail value. I do not want to take a chance paying $25 a month to see if that is true (because I want a code with a bonus item Pnut value style)! This was an unscientific study, and more research needs to be done.

LOLz were had reading this!!! Firmanced is now a word I will use for various savory and unsavory things.

My product is totally different. Though I do like you got two products and while one may be a shopping by TV maybe it’ll be good!

Thanks! My reviews write themselves for the most part!

It’s my second day using the serum and my face felt softer in the morning. It feels nicer than the Ole Henrickson C Serum or something like that and I am sure that is pricier so I give HSN that much.

I have parched skin all the time. I started using the spray waters I got in my summer boxes and actually like them it’s weird!

I prefer to be moist in more places than one.

Before you get all excited for that champagne forum Subista lol keep in mind that I talk the talk but can’t walk the walk …. Although the little army of Pnut people states otherwise.

I love the comparison of the BeautyDNA profile and a dating profile. It’s fun to read the different points of view.
