First Look
First Look

It was a windy day. I had a hard time taking pictures because everything was blowing away. I found a couple little flowers that survived the frost. The grain looking plant is foxtail.

Necklace from Ethereal Ideal
Crochet Crown from Ethereal Ideal

Ethereal Ideal Crochet Crown: I did not know that this was a crown until I looked up the website for the review. The Silver Leaf Crochet Crown is a great match with my twig necklace from the  Relish Accessory Box and the tree bracelet from the October Dottie Box. I did not know when I took the pictures that it was a crown.  I thought it would be fun to do a Who Wore it Best! This is why information cards are needed in boxes!

Who wore the crown the best? I thought I was terribly clever coming up with this idea when I thought it was a necklace.I hope Ethereal Ideal understands I did not know it was a crown.

JuliesHandMadeSoap Pumpkin Apple SeaShell: I love that they included a seashell soap! It’s perfect for this subscription.  The Butterfly Soap is beautiful. There’s also starfish soap, Batman Soap, Tomb Stone Soap, and much more. Guess who squealed with delight when he saw the soap?

Leaf Necklace by Made by Mermaids

I could not find the necklace on the website. I did find this leaf necklace that is more to my taste. I am impressed with the detailing of the leaf necklace from the subscription box. You can see the veining of the leaf and the edges are crumpled. It reminds me of a beautiful fall leaf.

The chain is long. I wore the necklace both ways. The longer way made the leaf look like it jumped off the abyss into the unknown. The shorter way made it look like the leaf was clinging to the ledge. I am passing this to my sister who is ecstatic to receive the necklace. It will look great on her. I do not know the material used in the necklace. It is made in New Jersey, USA.

I am wearing one of my wear around the house shirts. It might not look like the leaf is falling off the edge, but it does in real life.

Zelda loves the box.
Zelda loves the box.

Verdict: If only I were ten years younger! I love the box. It’s fun and whimsical. I do feel that I am a smidgen too old for the box. I did cancel my subscription

I’m impressed by the price. For $14.99 I received one handcrafted necklace by the curator and two Etsy artisan pieces. . I do plan to order a few boxes for my sister over the winter if she likes the crown and the necklace. Who doesn’t want to feel like a beautiful mermaid or a princess at a renaissance faire?

Wow amazing review! Amazing models! Amazing pictures and post!
I think Zelda stole the show 🙂

Thank you! She has become a real ham for the camera.

I also liked Zelda’s photo shoot. She has a natural runway elegance.

I feel like that style of haircrowns were secretly just necklaces that people with giant heads [like mine] couldn’t get over their head, so they just called it a crown! That silver leaf necklace is gorgeous. Even though I had thought this was a cat box, I’ll have to get it now that I know it’s a mermaid box.

I caved and bought one month. The website is a little clunky, but neat jewelry.

Zelda is a favorite. I had to take off my sunglasses to put the necklace over my head 🙂 I look forward to your review next month.

What a cute box! I agree the box looks a little young-ish, but that leaf necklace is gorgeous.

I loved the “who wore it best” pics. Everyone brought their A-game!

I’ve never heard of this box. I signed up. Only 15 minutes after signing up for ANOTHER box you mentioned in your review. The Outside of the Box sampler I think it’s called? Wonder if my sweet husband will notice the box count went a little higher?? I really enjoy this blog. I wished my wallet enjoyed it as much! Thank you for your reviews. All of you write in such an enjoyable way and you give great info on the product too!

Outside the Box sounds interesting I just looked them up. Wish they had a yearly subscription I like to pay up and forget lol. This box will be on my radar… Thanks!
