Yay for future snacks in my tummy!

Bestowed

Balance Bar – Peanut Butter Bar: Balance bars are one of my favorite protein bars because they usually taste like candy bars. I love candy bars so one that is a little more healthy is a win in my book. This one is no different and I will pretend I am eating a Reese’s or another candy that helps me get rid of the hungries.

What is these actually gave you super good balance? Would you try to walk around with a book on your head?

barkTHINS – Dark Chocolate Almond with Sea Salt: You KNOW I squealed when I saw these! Snackable chocolate for the win! I am thankful that they included a full size bag which means I will get about four snacking sessions or one stressed out party for one…

The modern use of ‘snack’ came about in 1757, before it was known as an actual bite. Like, “whoa keep away from fluffy she has been known to snack.”

Beautiful Nutrition – Shampoo & Conditioner: A cute little travel set that is sulfate free as well as devoid of most other bad stuff we all complain about. I don’t know why everything else has to be a “detox” when it is just cleaning the oil and other stuff off of your fur. But, who am I but a blogger?

If you drink hard water do you end up gaining weight?

Cafix – Coffee Substitute: This is made from figs and beets and is supposed to taste like coffee but not be coffee. So those who love the taste can get it without having to deal with the acid and caffeine that coffee has. I haven’t tried it yet but I will try to.

I personally will never give up caffeine. They say it is addictive but I have quit drinking it like 5 times!

Enjoy Life – Snickerdoodles: These are vegan and free of allergens like nuts, soy, and dairy. I saw that it was free of so many things that I was questioning if they were going to be good. I smelled one and it smelled good so I took a healthy bite and it was AMAZING! I love these cookies! I can’t believe they are so free of everything I usually like eating and still so full of flavor.

Are you a soft and chewy cookie person or one of those crunchy cookie people? (This will tell me a lot about you!)

Verdict: Again I am really happy with Bestowed for sending me snacks that are both healthy and tasty. I would have never ever tried those cookies and now I am going to buy them again! I like that all the snacks were pretty much full size and being sent chocolate suitable for snacking make a happy lady.

Soft & chewy! Or I dunk the crispy ones in milk first.

Shampoo & conditioner in a snack box? I am tired of the word detox…

I need to try a balance bar! And then walk on one of those gymnast balance beams. 🙂

Yes, I think hard water most definitely makes you gain weight. I mean, it couldn’t possibly be all the bacon and sour patch kids I eat. Right?

I’m a soft and chewy gal myself, although that brownie brittle stuff is snack crack. I wouldn’t turn down an Oreo either, if I had a cup of coffee around for dunking. (And I always do have a cup of coffee around.)

      You? You I like!

I heard hard water goes straigh to the thighs!

It doesn’t go to my chest, that’s for sure.

All this talk about water – Health places around here sell alkaline water. It’s supposed to help you lose weight or something like that.

During one of my earlier attempts to quit smoking I read a book that claimed high-alkaline foods would reduce nicotine cravings. I have no idea if that’s true–I was doing well to follow a conversation for more than 5 minutes sans nicotine, so menu planning wasn’t going to happen. Maybe alkalines are the new super food.

Soft and chewy! Preferably with loads of chocolate chunk!

I can’t support coffee substitute. Coffee is divine soul-awakening goodness in a mug.
