EatsieBox

Horray for big box of snacks!

GoPicnic – Peanut Butter and Crackers
GoPicnic – Peanut Butter and Crackers

GoPicnic – Peanut Butter and Crackers: This is a big snack pack that reminds me of the times in school when I other kids would get snack packs and I didn’t. My mom said that they looked gross and that she made better snacks, which was true. I still wanted those darn snack packs!

Anyway, this is going to go in my car so I can have a “car picnic” while stuck in traffic or some other madness. I will be so excited to pull this out and get rid of my hunger that always hits right after work.

Now I need a red checkered picnic car blanket!

Cliff Bar – White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Bar
Cliff Bar – White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Bar

Cliff Bar – White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Bar: I have been eating Cliff Bars and not hiking for many years. I love them. I actually haven’t tried the flavor yet! This is another snack I will find useful for when I feel a real hunger and need something that is both yummy and filling.

They challenge me to “Chase the Sunrise”… what if it is chasing me???

Southern Boy – Iced Teas (Strawberry Zabaglione and Coconut Cream Pie)
Southern Boy – Iced Teas (Strawberry Zabaglione and Coconut Cream Pie)

Southern Boy – Iced Teas (Strawberry Zabaglione and Coconut Cream Pie):  I like that they included something to drink in the box! These flavors seem odd for Iced Tea so I am weirdly looking forward to trying them. What can I say? I like new things!

I can’t pronounce Zabaglione!

Pure Honey – Wild Flower Honey (3 packets)
Pure Honey – Wild Flower Honey (3 packets)

Pure Honey – Wild Flower Honey (3 packets): The bees that brought me this honey are from North Florida, and are small batch. I think these go really well with the tea, however I will probably not see these again after my bear gets his paws on them. To him, these are snack sized!

If you were ever wondering what to call this type of packaging I have the answer:  Xela Pack

Charms – Blow Pop (4)
Charms – Blow Pop (4)

Charms – Blow Pop (4): Yay!!! I couldn’t wait to get at these because who doesn’t like a candy that is actually two in one? A hard candy and gum! I used to love to eat these as a kid, but would get into trouble for smacking and chawing on them like a horse. Now that I have my own barn/place I can enjoy these in piece!

Never mind, my cat gave me a dirty look to tell me to stop smacking…

Sheila G’s – Brownie Brittle (Toffee Crunch)
Sheila G’s – Brownie Brittle (Toffee Crunch)

Sheila G’s – Brownie Brittle (Toffee Crunch): I have had these before and was happy to see them again. Not just because I like them, but also because I feel guilty for not sharing them last time. I just couldn’t help it you guys!

What part of the brownie do you like? The crispy sides or the soft middle?

Greenlight Jerky Company – Flavor #32 “PRD”
Greenlight Jerky Company – Flavor #32 “PRD”

Greenlight Jerky Company – Flavor #32 “PRD”: I am a vegetarian so I won’t be eating this, and I believe you will be able to customize so that you don’t get meat if you don’t want it once EatsieBox is launched. I actually would allow them to send me jerky because my bear can eat it, and it makes for a nice little gift to a hungry meat eater! Plus beef jerky is expensive!!!

This is Prime Rib Dinner Flavor, which really has me interested. I wonder if it takes like that… I ate meat growing up but I don’t think I ever got to have anything fancy. Just roast and whatever my mom would slop on my plate. Anyway, I will be all over the person who eats this wanting to know what they think!

Reminds me of the wallpaper scene in Willy Wonka…

Kashi – Chocolate Almost and Sea Salt chewy Granola Bar w/Chia
Kashi – Chocolate Almost and Sea Salt chewy Granola Bar w/Chia

Kashi – Chocolate Almost and Sea Salt chewy Granola Bar w/Chia: Yay another on the go snack that makes sense for a grown up on the go like myself! Is it me or do these bars usually only last three bites at the most? I think it would be funny to eat this around people taking really little bites and pretending to save half because it is “so huge!”

Is it me or are they putting chia into everything these days? I wouldn’t be shocked if the government was putting chia in our drinking water at this point.

Butterfields - Honeybell Buds
Butterfields – Honeybell Buds

Butterfields – Honeybell Buds: Hard candies are my jam these days because they last longer and therefore is slows down the candy beast I have stashed inside of me. I like these candies; they are a straightforward orange flavor. Nothing weird going on here! The size was surprisingly big and they should last me…

The owner says on the box that if you don’t enjoy your candy you should contact them. No worries Ms. Manning, I won’t be sending you any terse emails!

Rubber ducky!
Rubber ducky!

Dino fun!
Dino fun!

*Extras* Rubber Ducky and Dino-mite Puzzle: I thought it was super cute that they included these little non edible items that are just as much fun for adults (or people like me who pretend to be) as they are for kids.

Since 4th grade I have annoyed my twin sister by calling myself a “Brontosaurus Rex”

EatsieBox

Verdict: I am really happy with the value of EatsieBox! I started to sort of get to know more about it from the founder on Reddit many moons ago and it is fun to see EatiseBox launch. It is even better that it seems pretty freakin’ awesome!

Disclosure: I want sent this box for review, all opinions are honest and somewhat covered in honey! 😉

    Oh wow very nomable review!
My Pnut people would highly approve of the random rubber ducky.
They are not sure about GoPicnic (too fancy for their weehood tastes) but Pnut approves and has bought quite a few when there are coupons at Amazon’s subscribe and save. I think Amazon took off Clif bars from that program the Samoa tasting one was knocked out. That Kashi and Clif bar in your review is nommy for being healthy.
Anything from that Brownie Brittle company is crack it is soooooooo nom.
That Prime Rib Dinner jerkey peaked my interest but since it tagged “flavor” to the end it kinda sounds like a furbaby treat rather than a human one.

J saw the picture gallery where we put our pictures for the blog. He wanted to know who got the puzzle and ducky. He’s impressed that Subscriptionista likes duckies and dinosaurs. It looks like a great box and my cart when shopping at Target!
