Eucopia Mini Subscription Box Review – November 2015

Disclosure: This box was paid for by me with a one day only buy one get one free signup. There is an affiliate link.

Subscription: Eucopia Mini

Cost: $15 Eucopia Mini and $49 for Eucopia

What to Expect: Mini–A single item every month: beautiful, useful, interesting, and designed in Europe. Regular–A monthly themed selection of 3-5 items to help you live like a European, wherever you are.

This is my first mini box from Eucopia. Over the summer I purchased the beta box, then they held an Indiegogo campaign and got 143% funded, and November kicked off their first official box.

Theme: Sweet [available as a one time purchase for $49]

I decided to go with a mini box because while I do think the regular box is worth the $49 price point, I have a hard time spending over $30-40 on boxes.

Is it weird then that I actually encouraged the creator to price his box higher than what he sold it for during beta testing??

Eucopia has a special red box with a bird logo on the top, so I was surprised when a plain cardboard box was on my doorstep. Perhaps in future boxes they will create a specialized mini box.

Cuttin’ cake!

I was a little bummed at first that this was the item, because I don’t bake cakes a lot. But I don’t have any sort of serving utensil for when I do make cakes. So, now I look forward to using it, and sort of want to bake a cake just to have an excuse to try it out!

I love that Eucopia interviewed the creator of this product! It made it more interesting than just getting an item and tossing it in the drawer.

The info card states that the creator’s favorite cake is white chocolate cranberry cake with mulled wine frosting! Doesn’t that sound fantastic? The mulled wine sold me [Glühwein is tasty!].

I know you cake fiends will love this cake talk–so what sort of cake should I try this out on??

Verdict: While I haven’t tried this yet, my brother tried his and he said it worked great! I look forward to trying it out on my next cake.

What cake do you think I should bake? Have you tried one of these tools yet?
