Here is a peek at all my items. I feel the items fit the theme well.

Globein Palm Leaf Basket
Globein Palm Leaf Basket

GlobeIn Palm Leaf Basket: The baskets are beautiful. They are created by Don Juan and his family. The baskets have allowed Don Juan to become a small business owner. Love the basket? You can select the color of the basket when ordering online from GlobeIn.

I love GlobeIn’s idea of using the basket as a gift box.

Marquet Fair Trade Scarf
Marquet Fair Trade Scarf

Marquet Fair Trade Scarf: Check out my review of the October GlobeIn Benefit Basket for detailed information. The scarf is created by the Ton Fai group during the farm off-season. It is made from 100% locally grown cotton in Thailand. The value-added product allows them to stay in their rural village with their families instead of seeking employment in the city. My scarf is black.

My older son claimed the scarf because it is black.

Divine Chocolate Cocoa Powder

Divine Chocolate Cocoa Powder: Globein included a couple yummy recipes in its booklet. The cocoa powder is from Ghana. The Divine Chocolate is co-owned by Kuapa Kokoo.  Kuapa Kokoo is a cocoa-growing cooperative. It’s great that the farmers have ownership in the value-added product. The best profits overall for USA farmers is in value-added products. I imagine it is the same elsewhere.

We will be making something divine next week!

Le Souk Ceramique Bowl: GlobeIn sent an email explaining that they were short on mugs and requested an email back if you wanted a mug. It didn’t matter to me. The day the box arrived, my older son was commenting that we did not have enough bowls. It worked out perfectly for me to receive the bowl.

Le Souk Ceramique Mug: Heat7918 kindly sent me a picture of her matching mug. The mug and bowls are made in Tunisia. The artisans work as a team in creating the mugs. Each artisan has an area of responsibility in creating the pottery.

There were variations on the mug. Subscriptionista received a mug that contained a different design. J would love that mug. He would also love the Blue Fish Mug. Click on the link and then on the thumbnail picture to see the Blue Fish Mug. The bowls and mugs are beautiful.

We can never have too many bowls in my house!

Verdict: The October 2015 Globein Artisan Box is a hit for my family. We already used the bowl. I used the basket to hold soaps. Scarves are always welcomed in our household. Same with anything that has chocolate.

Upcoming November Box:

The November box is available to order until November 15th. I can’t bring up the spoiler picture, but I can do one better. Read my GlobeIn Review on the Seahorse Pillow. The Seahorse Pillow is the item in the GlobeIn Benefit Basket and one of the spoilers for the GlobeIn Artisan Box.

Globein Artisian Box Unboxing: J uses the laundry basket for his clothes and play. I used the soap nuts and dryer bowls. I also used the basket to pack items for a swap.

My mug does match your bowl – cute! I also got the black scarf which I like. I’m surprised how much I’m loving GlobeIn…. dryer balls! I use mine a lot still too. (Pnut loves balls.)

Really loving your sub box flashbacks too – thank you!

Balls. I am getting tempted by their “choose your first basket” as one of those baskets is the laundry basket. Holding out for a hopeful BOGO code not sure whether that will happen. I have enough balls though (I think).

I like all the mugs! I found a brown one I really like. Ohhh, and I forced myself to go into Anthropologie the other day and they had some similar mugs [though, with a different back story and similar price].

AND I JUST FOUND THESE CAT MUGSSS AHHHH!
