We’ve been enjoying the new weather patterns. It was warm enough last week for us to wear shorts!

All the items!

Goodebox switched their name to GoodBeing to recently. According to their blog post, they will soon be offering dedicated beauty, wellness, and lifestyle boxes. I am excited to see what the changes will bring.

I go with the flow.

MyChelle Reging SUgar Cleanser
MyChelle Refining Sugar Cleanser

MyChelle Refining Sugar Cleanser : The cleanser is new to the MyChelle product line. I love MyChelle products and am always happy to receive them. MyChelle does a wonderful job working with subscription boxes. Full-size products and nary a repeat. The cleanser can remove eye-make, cleanse, and exfoliate the skin.

I met a MyChelle representative when she was demonstrating at Whole Foods. She looked at me strangely when I tried to explain how I was introduce dto the product line. It is made in the USA.

Time to hook up MyChelle sale reps with subscription boxes!

The natural brow is making a comeback.

Odacite Facial Serum Concentrate
Odacite Facial Serum Concentrate

Odacite Wild Carrot Serum Concentrate: I am excited to see the Odacite Serum in my box. I tried this very serum in a Mondavanti Box. Scroll down on the Modavanti website to see what boxes are available. I liked it very much. The carrot oil is made in a small French village using the same methods for 200 years. The vial is tiny, but you need only a couple of drops. It is made in California, USA.

Glowing skin is heading my way!

Ellovi Mint Chocolate Body Butter
Ellovi Mint Chocolate Body Butter

Ellovi Mint Chocolate Butter: Another product I am excited to see in my box. I missed out on the butter when it was in the February 2015 Petit Vour Box. I am excited to try it out. The scent is amazing. I was planning to use it as a body butter. Ellovi also recommends using it as a night cream. They state it is good for rosacea. I am going to give it a try.

It smells like mint chocolate chip cookies!

Daviids Toothpaste
Daviids Toothpaste

Davids Best Natural Toothpaste: The fluoride free, sulfate free toothpaste is made in the USA. It has a nice minty smell. I won’t be using it because it did not come in a box and  is unsealed. I’m bummed about that because it does look like a good toothpaste to try. I am surprised it did not come in a box because the MyChelle Product and the brow product came in a box.

What do subscription boxes have against product boxes?

Zelda is checking out J’s Halloween scene a few weeks ago.

Verdict: November’s items are a mix for me. I am excited about the body butter, serum, and cleanser. I am impressed that there are two new-to-the-market products. I won’t use the toothpaste because of the lack of packaging and seal. I requested no eye makeup and received a brow pencil. I do feel that the box contains enough value for me.

Subscription Box Flashback

Goodebox July 2015
Goodebox July 2015

Goodebox July 2015 Review: Wow! The July 2015 review is one of the first reviews I wrote. I also had a replacement item. I purchased full-sizes of the Yarok Feed Your Shine Hair Serum and the Angel Face Botanicals Grace Toner. I gave my sister the 100% Pure acne treatment. I haven’t used the Acure scrub yet because I don’t use facial scrubs that often. I keep the sunstick in my purse. I did use the facial serum that was my replacement item.

Verify that the toothpaste is packaged like that and if so give it a whirl! It could be a “green” company without packaging. My concern is it not having flouride because I kinda need it *sigh* I am indifferent about sulfates in toothpaste. Shocking I know.

The heart swatch was appreciated. I need to mix it up with my swatches I had forgotten until now. I want to do a smily face with a toungue sticking out.

The other products look great a well rounded box! Also like the flashback review too. Hope they still do bonus boxes!

Pnut! Perhaps you just start an emoji eyeliner Instagram album. I would subscribe >^-^<

I have an old jam jar in my cabinet just full of eyeliners that I've used a couple times. How many times does a girl have occasion to use green eyeliner?? Not many, in my life… but the sparkly silver/gold one from last year's winter Birchbox always gets a swipe when I go out.

      • November 9, 2015 at 6:27 pm

I got that eyeliner too! It was so strange though who knew everyone would go nuts and had to have that eyeliner as their PYS like it was crack or somethin.

I was reading some sub box commentary and someone one upped my commentary on an army of eyeliners, etc. It was something to the effect of not drowning but being pelted by eyeliners.

        • November 9, 2015 at 6:38 pm

I just got an idea for a future post…

What sub box items are trying to kill you? That is, is an army forming, are your drowning, do you have a fear of being pelted by your black eyeliners in the dark?

I need to discuss with the goats about this.

Credit: as with the pelting gem commentator to which I give a nod to but have forgotten who it was, credit also goes to Subista’s latest post on Kloverbox for inspiration of the above topic.

Bud vases. Too many bud vases.

And before long, school teachers delve into the recent gifts of bud vases, they think it is a fad, then discover the world of subscription boxes.

            Those goats are smart!

Omg so much wonderful!my favorite is imagining you trying to explain sub boxes to someone! I have tried and it’s like I’ve suddenly started speaking another language. I end up feeling like I was Tom Cruise jumping up and down on Oprahs nice cream colored couch…

Exactly! She looked at me very strangely.

I was concerned about the toothpaste when I saw it too. Glad I’m not just being crazy. Especially since there seems to be a box for the product shown on their website. Plus mine seemed liked it had been handled and scrushed. I’m probably not going to use it either 🙁

Ok scrushed isn’t a word. But you know what I mean

Jennifer, thank you for commenting! I was at our farm today and got back home a few minutes ago. I apologize for the delay in approving your comments. All your future comments will post immediately now! No need for approval.

I used to work for a consulting firm doing Quality Assurance work for pharmaceutical companies. It’s made me more aware of potential problems.Plus all the food safety courses that I took because of the farm. Sometimes I wonder if I am being too serious about things.

Box envy!! I really just need to buy myself that Ellovi chocolate mint butter. 🙂

This box and that July box are both awesome… I really wish I didn’t have too many beauty products already. 🙁

Great review with amazing pictures (AGAIN) – I don’t know how you do it!

In defense of the brow product – it’s technically above your eye and part of your forehead, right? Well, maybe that’s a stretch but at least they didn’t send eyeliner, eye shadow or mascara.

    • November 10, 2015 at 10:36 am

You must buy the Ellovi chocolate mint butter. It smells yummy! This year I caught back on beauty boxes. That helped a lot. That’s true about the eye products. I am not going to bother them this month about it,

I got the David’s last month and it came in a box with a key (to get every last bit). Perhaps you should contact them? I didn’t get my November box yet, it is in a sorting center somewhere in Illinois and I am wondering what I will get in place of toothpaste? Though I wouldn’t mind getting another toothpaste!

    • November 10, 2015 at 10:37 am

I should contact them. Post what you receive!

I got SW Basics Cream for my 5th item. I am happy with it because when I went to buy the full size at Target and saw that it was $32 it made me sad!

My David’s toothpaste last month came with a box and key too.

I the MyChelle, Evoli, and brow pencil too.

But I got something you need to ask for – Hamadi Organics Shea Spray – De-Frizzing Sun Protector for all hair types. My new favorite before combing spray for my hair.

My fifth product was Odacite Gt + L Green Tea & Lemongrass Serum Concentrate. Boy I need to find that one. You know you are getting too many products when you can’t remember those you just got and promptly lost……

    • November 10, 2015 at 10:39 am

I received the shea spray last month! I love it!!!

Hello! I’m new to the comments, but I’ve been peeping most of the posts on the site for a little while now. I love that you all keep it real with your reviews (and cats!) and the comments are more than worth the price of admission!! 🙂 😉

I didn’t think anything of the toothpaste not having a box until I read your review. Perhaps they got some of the unpackaged toothpaste at a discount? Or some of the boxes had an “accident” and were crushed? I don’t mind not getting a box (mostly because I’m not too jazzed about getting a full size toothpaste), but I would have liked to get a key with it.

I’ve noticed that it seems like the GoodBeing/Goodebox boxes are less customized the past couple of months. There used to be a good variation of products in reviews on different blogs, but it looks to me like for the most part everyone is receiving almost the same products. It could be how their new business model is going to work (and I’m totes cool with it because I haven’t really received anything I hated or couldn’t use), but I hope they reveal more info about their switch to GoodBeing soon.

    • November 10, 2015 at 8:03 am

Welcome, LC! Thank you for reading. I may be a little paranoid about the toothpaste because my previous job was all about what could go wrong in compliance. I wish I received the key too!

i’m curious about their new business model too. I am wondering if there will be one more push of reducing old stock. I also wonder if the new style boxes will begin in Jan after the holiday season.

I agree, much less customized now than it was even a few months ago. Back a few months I would have almost nothing in common in my box compared to others here, now it seems they are pretty much the same, though some get things one month earlier than the other…..
