Subless Sunday 11/15/15

I decided to tell you a story today. We came back a day early from our college tour trip. I knew people were waiting to see The Box by LE/Decterie Fall Review. I was curious myself.

I persuaded my husband to go to the busy, scary post office late Friday afternoon to pick up our packages. He waited in line with twelve people in front of him with one clerk working only to be told there were no packages or mail on hold. He came back empty handed.

We are now going to enter the imaginary kitty world that resides in my head.

Little Lamb's boo-boo is all better.

Little Lamb said, “Don’t worry, Mommy. We will find your packages.”

“My kitty senses is alerting my tail, ” exclaimed Zelda. “The mail truck is on its way.”

Little Lamb said, “Are you sure? My tail is not on full alert yet.”

“I don’t see any delivery people. I’m ready with my net to catch the packages,” exclaimed Link.

“It’s Daddy. He’s back with the boxes after mom sent him back to the post office with a tracking number.” Puss in Boots replied.  “Wait! You want me to move?” sighed Puss in Boots. “Cats don’t move for anything.”

THE END

The Terra Bella Box looks great! I like the items in the Luxor mini box.

I agree that the Nov Terra Bella box looks great! But the full size Luxor box is totally my taste – swoon! I want, I want! So sad that I didn’t get it.

Love today’s Subless Sunday story though!

I loved this months Lit-Cube. It was really well curated and I love all of the elements included. Two of the items in my PopSugar box this month were damaged, I’ve e-mail them so I’ll see how good the customer service is.

I think someone asked me if I thought the GRAMR gratitude box was a bit overpriced and I do. I think that if the non-card portion had more zing it would have been great. I’m going to stick with it for a few boxes though.

I did receive the Net-A-Porter box this week and it is absolutely worth the price. I’ve tried all of the products except for the sheet mask because I’m not a fan of that type of mask in general but the rest is fab. I’m happy to report back on any of the items more specifically.

I hope PopSugar replaces them. I’m glad to hear Net-A-Porter is worth the price.

I want to know why my November Birchbox was addressed to “Kindhearted Anna Lastname”. Well, it did have my actual last name. But I am somehow kindhearted. Are they prone to adding descriptors of questionable accuracy to boxes in general or is mine a unique experience?

This was on the outside package above your mailing address? I’ve never noticed anything like that… But I don’t think I’ve really paid attention. I like your “questionable accuracy” comment. lol

Their are some boxes that always say “Hey Beautiful!” and things like that…

I received around 3-4 boxes in about 18 months of Birchboxes that were addressed with sayings similar to yours. I am trying to remember them and can’t. It’s fun and unexpected when it happened. It freaked me out first because I had no idea why it happened. As far as I know. it is a random thing.

Please say a prayers, meows, purrs, warm wishes to Daisy, our English Shepherd. She is the brown and white dog in the Brisk Bespoke Post review. She is smart, intelligent, a good family dog, a good farm dog, my right-hand, and my baby.

We had to take her to the vet er last night. They suspected she has been poisoned or ingested a toxin. That’s how they are treated her. I am waiting to hear back from the doctor and on the lab results today. She will be in the ER for 2-3 days if they catched it in time. We comb both the farm and the main property in the dark and again today in the light to see if we could find anything. Nothing. She was on the farm last week and came home late Sat night.

    Thank You.

My kitties are sending healing purrs Daisy’s way….

Thank You, Everyone! We were able to bring Daisy home today!!! She is on a muscle relaxer for tremors for a couple of days. I also need to follow-up with my vet to have her blood work check and watch for neurological damage. I am a little concern that the tremors will come back. That is only one of a few symptoms that she was displaying yesterday so hopefully all will be well. She’s happy to be back home!

Yay! So glad she’s okay. They still think she ingested something toxic? Are their tests they can run to maybe figure out what it was?

        • November 16, 2015 at 4:13 pm

There are tests. She responded well to the treatment and the tests are expensive. The visit already cost me $$$$. They decided that it wasn’t necessary because they were able to send her home early. They were expecting her to stay for at least 2-3 nights.

I’m glad Daisy’s home. My friend had a dog who would eat anything…his piñata removal surgery was pricey.
