TATCHA Unboxing – New Leaf Fall Beauty Set

I used the TATCHA face masks a couple of times and been wanting to purchase the 4-pack. A deal came up that proved to be irresistible to me.

 

TATCHA works like clockwork I don’t bother checking my tracking numbers anymore because my orders show up a few days after ordering.  I was shocked when FedEx dropped off this huge TATCHA box at my door. I placed my order on Sunday, November 1. It shipped by FedExSuperSaver on Monday, November 2nd. It arrived on Thursday, November 5th.

I could not understand why the box was huge! I had wild fantasies that they knew I blogged about my orders, and there were extras in my box. A girl can dream, can’t she?

The deciding factor in placing this order is that I was able to add on a free face mask as a gift with purchase. The free face mask is on top, a holiday guides is underneath the face mask, and the New Leaf Beauty Set is inside the wood box. The samples were underneath the box.  All items were safely nestled in the purple tissue paper.

I almost took a picture of all the tissue paper. There is a lot of tissue paper in this box. Nothing was gong to happen to this box.

 

 

I was not expecting the box even though it is in the KOYO New Leaf Fall Beauty Set picture. It was not listed as being part of the set.

 

It’s a wonderful size for storing beauty products. I will store my small amount of TATCHA beauty products in the box. I’m not sure what type of wood was used for the box. It feels a little softer than some woods. That is why I am guessing bamboo, but bamboo may be too soft for this box. It’s solid. I wanted to take more pictures of the inside of the lid etc.

TATCHA Gold Camellia Nourishing Lip Balm: The lip balm is the first item from the KOYO New Leaf Fall Beauty Set. I should have taken a picture before I put my finger in the lip balm. Click on the lip balm link to see the gold square that was there before I played with my lip balm. The lip balm contains camellia oil, 24-karat gold leaf, and HADASEL-3 complex. The lip balm absorbs quickly leaving me with soft, kissable lips. Kiss, Kiss. The lip balm is also sold at Barneys.

I couldn’t resist! I had to stick my finger in there and swirl the gold around!

 

Luminous Dewy Skin Face Mist: I love this face mist. I use it mainly for when my face needs to be moist before applying an oil or a serum.

I love the refreshing feeling.

 

Aburatorigami Japanese Beauty Papers: I like the tube much better than the flat package. The tube is already in my purse. I will be purchasing a few tubes as Christmas gifts. The blotting papers absorbs excess oil without removing your makeup. It’s also great for removing sweat. Gross, but true.

Luminous Deep Hydration Facial Mask: The masks are the reason for my purchase. They are the last item in the set.

 

I’ve been impressed with how my skin looks after using a TATCHA face mask. I want to use one every week for a month to see the results. The mask is soaked in serum. This mask is not a mask that you can use sitting up. It’s best to lay down and relax. Sometimes I read a book or read emails on my phone. Most times the boys will gather around me and make comments about how I look scary.

One of these days I will post a picture of me wearing a mask. It’s scary.

 

TATCHA not only offers free shipping, but it also allows you to select three complimentary samples. It does not matter what you spend. I received free shipping and free samples when ordering the travel-size hand cream.  The free mask is shown in the second picture.

Verdict: I’m impressed. The presentation of the New Leaf Beauty Kit is gorgeous. It was an enjoyable package to open and experience. I will be using my products right away. The KOYO New Leaf Fall Beauty Set is sold out. The Holiday Gift Sets are listed. I am eyeing up the Hitomi Bright Eyes Set.
