well it is such a good deal! and they have really been kicking Birchbox booty lately with creativity and products!
It was really hard deciding between BB and Ipsy! I love BB’s point system and their website, but I prefer Ipsy’s variety and products. I don’t like that Ipsy is a, pardon me, media whore, and they make you share everything for points, and that BB sends out excessive Harvey Prince, dry shampoo, and sunscreen samples. So, when BB did the 30% off that was really what brought me back. I probably would’ve taken Ipsy back had they done a similar offer [without the “waitlist”].
Yes the BB point system makes it the best value by far. I usually share my bag on FB and then delete it right away to get around the media stuff. I only resubscribed to Ipsy this summer but I have been impressed with how hard they try to keep it inventive. Plus the value of bags I have gotten lately have really won me over.
