Yay! Sudsy and Co Unboxing – December 2015

Sudsy & Co held a wonderful Black Friday 2-day sale. I decided to take advantage of the sale by stocking up and buying presents! I was on the website while writing the review and saw a discount code. The code is GIFTBAG20 and it takes 20% off the pink organza gift bag.

 

I admit it is a lot of soap. I couldn’t resist the sale and ordered a few for the family. The rest are gifts.

 

Takesumi Soap: I have to hide this soap from the soap monster. He loves this soap because it looks dirty. It is a detoxify soap. It has a light pleasant scent. I ordered two bars and will be gifting one.

The soap that helps you recover from New Years Eve.

 

Eucalyptus Lavender Silk Bar: The Eucalyptus Lavender Silk bar is my favorite soap. It is infused with silk and is creamy.  Neither scent is overpowering. They blend together to create a calming and uplifting scent. I purchased one and will gift two.

 

I prefer to have essential oil in the soap I use and gift. Heidi discusses her viewpoint on essential oil versus fragrances.

 

Lavender Dreams Soap: I ordered one for me to try out.  It has lavender essential oil and flowers. It has the wonderful scent of lavender and is made with shea butter.

Will I dream of Sudsy Soap if I used it before going to bed?

 

Morning Mist Soap: My sister put in a special request for this soap. It has a great spearmint scent that wakes you up in the morning. It also has french clay in it. One for me, One for Sis.

Too bad morning mist all day mist does not smell this good. It’s wrong to have rain in December! El Nino is keeping the snow away in my little area of the world.

 

Lavender Bliss Body Butter: I will be giving this as a gift. The scent is described as a calming scent. I think it will be well received.

 

Refresh Body Butter: I purchased this to try out. I was a little unsure if I will be able to use it in the winter because my house is on the cool side. This results in Shea becoming a hard solid. I found out the hard way last year when I received shea-based body butters in subscription boxes.

 

 

I do not think it will be an issue. You can see in the picture that it is not packed down hard. It’s whipped making it easy to scoop up the body butter and rub it into my skin. It’s not fluffy whipped. It has a wonderful scent consisting of a blend of eucalyptus, spearmint, and cedarwood. I can’t wait to try it out!

Rosemary Peppermint Soap: I received a complimentary travel soap.

 

 It has the wonderful scent of peppermint with a little rosemary thrown into the mix. The soap monster claimed it.

I love trying out samples!

Verdict: The family was sniffing the open bars and decided which ones they will be using. The unopened bars will be used as wonderful gifts.

Sudsy Order Flashback:

Sudsy November Order: I’m about a quarter of the way through the scrub. I used up the Cedarwood Lavender sample bar. I’ll have to order it in my next order. My husband is using the Earthly Essence Soap. I am using both the Woodland Mint and the Eucalyptus Lavender. It depends on my mood.
