In Real Life: “The Conversation” – Terrapin Ridge Farms Pecan Honey Mustard

In Real Life is a series where we delve into how the items we receive in subscription boxes are actually used in everyday life. My example today is a conversation I had with my husband, and I think a lot of you subscription junkies are going to relate..

Before we do that though, let’s get to the cute!

Introducing the WEEist of my Pnut people, Squeakette!

My mother rather show her Pnut people than herself. She is anon like that.
My mother rather show her Pnut people than herself. She is anon like that.

She might not speak but she knows she is part of the Subscriptionista family and would like to report that she found her succulent feet (i.e., paddles with daddy’s big toes)! Expect her cameo appearance with her sidekicks, Pipsqueak and Squeak in helping their momma blog!

Now, back to main event that we all clicked that cute Pnut People click bait link for!

An In Real Life conversation by text between me and my husband regarding the Terrapin Ridge Farms Pecan Honey Mustard in November’s Popsugar box…

Yes, I made him lunch just so I would’ve able to use the mustard, and he knew! I think we can all relate to coming up with just about any reason to use some items we get in a box.

Baby Pnut is so beautiful, tfs her adorableness. Christmas day was sub box land, the PSMH for him made the fellas so happy between the throw, sock tail s, and laptop bag. my dear friend loved the PSMH for her bracelet and jewelry box. Thanks Pnutter.

Most of my sub box conversations are a version of me explaining what a subscription box is and the other person looking at me like I am from outer space.

She’s very cute! I just made a grilled cheese and turkey sandwich with the mustard yesterday and chicken with a mustard cream sauce the other night. I may need to buy that stuff by the gallon!

    She’s adorable!!!

My husband has never said anything about my sub boxes… he doesn’t care what I buy (I’m the finance person in this relationship) so we’ve never had quite that type of conversation. However, there have been a few times now where he liked something so asked where I got it and I was able to proudly respond “oh, from one of my sub boxes.” 🙂

      Thanks Heat!

Buffy did not go that well though lol! Did Beyonce the metal chicken inspire you? What is in your frame now that Buffy is in the trash?

My husband and i are obsessed with that mustard. Ever since receiving it in the popsugar box, we have ordered many more and eat it on crackers with cheese and fancy salames from whole foods. We fight over it, seriously. We get made at eachother for using too much. We are at a 3 bottle a month habit.

Sarah I was actually hoping you would comment because I know at you applauded of the mustard! Thanks for the tip to add to cheese and salame plates. I am partial to Trader Joes (they have a truffle salami I reccomend) but have you tried Whole Foods house guac (obviously not with the mustard but that is the one WF branded item I love)?
