I first starting getting subscription boxes I would think to myself that a sweets box would be the last think I would want. I mean, yeah, I like sweets but they are all over the place. Now I finally understand. The joy that Orange Glad brings is the discovery of new bakeries and treats that you would otherwise might not ever get a chance to try.
Needless to say I get super excited when I get a shipping notice because I know FOR SURE that I am getting something happy in the mail!
The box is different! Also, just to note this came in a larger mailing envelope with padding but I went ahead and tossed it because my place is already packed with packing stuff!

The Crispery – Cocoa Concoction Crispycake: I have had another flavor or this and it was a solid block of yummy. These are not meant to be wolfed down all at once. I mean, if you can that is actually impressive and your my hero for it. It is big and very much it’s own type of dessert!
I think your burn calories just lifting this, so you don’t have to feel guilty about eating it!
Silk Shortbread – Classic Shortbread Tea Mates: This company also was featured before, however this is a different flavor and more of the cookies! I will take that! These are just so good. I swear I love butter and want to marry it. I want to take it away from all the sadness in the world and just live on a quiet countryside with it, raising out little butter pats to grow up to be just as wonderful as their the butter that raised them.
I am totally weird for butter.
Tumbador Chocolate – Sweet & Salty Bar: Ok, this is a winner. I love sweet and salty. The salty allows me to eat even more sweet which makes not having to share this bar even easier! The employees at Tumbador come from different community based programs like Goodwill and Strive. That makes for some really feel good chocolate because providing a chance for employment for those who might not have the opportunity is pretty sweet.
They said this was addictive, and after eating this I can say it is true!
Art of Caramel – Vanilla Cocoa Nib: This company is one of my most favorite caramel popcorn makers. Seriously they know how to bring out the flavor of a treat that usually comes in huge bins, to something that you want to serve in a nice dish. The flavor here is sweet and the vanilla is super natural tasting. I just want to eat all their flavors.
If they made a cat hair flavor I would eat it, yeah, I like them THAT much!
Finally Ginger – Oatmeal Cranberry Finally Ginger Cookie: Carol the create of this cookie was on the hunt for the perfect cookie for her daughter who did not like chocolate chip cookies. She created these cookies that are savory and sweet. These have a great kick of ginger and I wish there were like 6 of these in the box.
I can’t identify with anyone who doesn’t like chocolate chip cookies, I find it hard to fathom. So I reject the thought in my waking reality.
Verdict: There were a lot of repeat brands for me to feel CRAZY happy because I always like these subscriptions for the new brands that they send. However, I can’t really stay mad because the brands that they did repeat all had different flavors and were in the past some of the bigger standouts. I am a big fan of Orange Glad because even if I didn’t actually earn my treats this month, it sure feels like I have!

PS: I love ginger snaps, snickerdoodles, anything with oatmeal and raisins, and loads of other cookies. But if I had a choice, chocolate chip was just never at the top of my list. HOWEVER, I’ve gotten used to them and will eat them, especially if they’re like a chocolate chunk or made by my sister-in-law’s mom. I think she just uses butter, flour, butter, sugar, butter, and chocolate butter flavored chips.
LOL I know I know. They used to have a smaller subscription they did a trial of but they don’t anymore which is super annoying because it was PERFECT. I wanted to get it for Sub Bella at the time but they did not have it anymore. Made me all sorts of sad.
My god. chocolate butter flavored chips? I would serve them at mu daughters wedding that sounds so good
I don’t know if chocolate flavored butter chips are a thing… I was just throwing butter in there a lot because they are crack. Also, she lets my nieces eat sticks of butter which is just so gross. They’re lucky they’re little twigs I guess.
Oh dear, you know I just canceled ipsy and have not found something to fill its void yet…. the shortbread and ginger cookies are looking amazing. I share your love for butter. It is a bright shining star in my universe.
You might consider treatsie… they are both really good. Though OrangeGlad is pretty much my mainstay…

Weirdly some items will last if I don’t hide them. Then it’s like, who will admit to eating all those sweets? However my household has no children and a picky cat so…
