First up:
Heat7918
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil – This is full size and is the main reason why I first subscribed to BeautyFix! Was that back in April? I used it almost every night and REALLY like it! But I figured I should try at least one other cleansing oil to compare it to… so tonight I will start using the one I bought from Julep.
Previse Hydromilk Cleanser – This is a full size item from BoxyCharm! (September maybe?) I’ve been using it as my daytime moisturizer and I like it but don’t love it. It worked better for me in the fall before we turned the heater on and my skin started getting really dry… I need something more hydrating for winter.
Marcelle Gentle Make-Up Remover for Sensitive Eyes – I ordered this full size from Birchbox several months ago – eye makeup remover is something I would love to see more samples of in my beauty boxes!! Actually, I don’t know if I’ve ever gotten any? I used this pretty much every night to remove my eye make-up. It’s pretty good – not the best and not the worst but I always followed up with my DHC on my whole face. I find the DHC cleansing oil not enough by itself for my eye makeup.
Palmetto Collagen Boosting Serum – I can’t remember if this was from Petit Vour or if I got it from Sub Bella? It was a nice little serum but nothing amazing that I could tell in 2 weeks on my dry, winter skin. I love serums though and always want to try more!
Heat7918 and I agree that subscription boxes should send more makeup remover. You can never have enough!

Yes to Blueberries face wipes (Popsugar, July 2015): I loved these! I savored these wipes too, and now I want more. These were usually for “I’m too drunk to use face wash”, “someone used my facecloth to dry their hands”, or “why not?” nights. They have a nice smell but created a burning sensation under my eyes. Once smeared with black eyeliner, brown eyebrow powder, dark lipstick, and sometimes glitter, these helped wipe out toothpaste splatters around the sink area. I like a beauty product that multitasks!
Ok I successfully saved some trash this week!
Level natural shower bomb (From Yuzen Winter box)
I caught a cold this week and so these babies were awesome. They contain menthol and give you a nice steamy menthol-y shower good for helping with head congestion. I though this was such a fun addition to a sub box. The only thing I found confusing was that I couldn’t quite figure out where to put it in the shower to maximize results.
Nubian Heritage Indian Hemp and Haitian Vetiver (From Fall Yuzen Box)
This stuff pretty much smells like heaven. It is a very lightweight body wash. You have to be careful pouring it out because it is very thin and viscous.
But what the heck is Vetiver?
Thank you Wikipedia, it is a bunchgrass that grows native to India.
But, seriously, how did they figure out that this stuff smells good? It looks like weeds! I think some kid got sent outside to weed the lawn and EUREEKA!
Target Eye Makeup Remover:
Meh, it was cheap and worked ok. Won’t re-buy

Awesome empties! Sigh, this have been so rushed this week right? It is like a huge holiday hangover ;)It was nice to see some empties to make me feel like I would be getting through products haha
Also yeah, make up remover would be great to get in a box. I always actually have to buy it which is insane considering all the stuff I have…
True true. You’d think it would come more with all the makeup we get! The blueberry wipes worked pretty well to remove makeup, and I just got a full bottle of the mint cleanser Birchbox sent me a sample of last month. That stuff I use in the shower in the morning and it does an excellent job removing the rest of my eye makeup!
I love the blueberry wipes. I shower after work because I believe my musk to be alluring and all consuming… no? ok fine, I wake up super late all the time and so I maximize sleep over anything else…

I do like some of the samples I have gotten from Birchbox but I grumble about buying them because they are $20ish dollars. and I grumble about using my points on them because I want to save those for frivolous things… So I end up with the target brand that is not great at best….And you would think with all this time I spent thinking about it I would just invest in some good stuff and be done with it!
