Beauty DNA Subscription Review – February 2016

Beauty DNA – the subscription I cannot seem to shake – offers the most customization of any beauty subscription you can possibly sign up for. I mean this in every sense of the word. When you sign up you will be given what can only be called a midterm exam full of questions about what you like, what you want, what you don’t want, and all the ingredients that you will accept and not accept.

I remember when I first came across this subscription. About halfway through the questions I KNEW this subscription would be better for Sub Bella. I am pretty easy going when it comes to ingredients and I am only now starting to understand how many weird things I have been slathering on my skin in the name of beauty.

If customization is important to you, if you can’t just slap on whatever you are sent then you pretty much HAVE to try out this subscription. It is for you. It is almost impossible for it NOT to be.

Cost: $25 a month/free shipping

Box does not seem to change!

Weirdly I did not get this until a couple of days into March. I usually don’t have to wait very long for this subscription. I actually thought that I had finally received my very last one. Maybe this one is it?

L’Occitane – Almond Supple Skin Oil: I have super dry skin so I am always glad to get a product that will help it seems at the very least a little normal! I really like the smell of this, and it gets great reviews. While it is not going to be life changing it does feel luxurious to oil down after a hot shower and know that my skin won’t be dry for most of the day!

For me the oil sinks right on in so, for any dry skin ladies this might be a fun product to give a try. They have study results on the back where women gave their feedback on things like how “supple” their skin felt after use. I am sort of surprised they only had 31 women report on the study, and it gives no info as to if these women knew they were getting the product or something else. So not really statistically compelling in my honest opinion. However, this product is a mix of different oils so I feel like it really should work to make skin more “supple.”

It tells me to focus application on such parts of as my buttocks… Makes me feel as if I am dressing a holiday ham…

Verdict: I am happier with this subscription this month than I have in a long time. This product will help out my dry skin and make me smell good, which anyone who comes into contact with should appreciate! 😉
