Peaches and Petals is a lifestyle and beauty box with a retro sort of leaning. They promise a mix of products that are both bring beauty and style to your door each month. I could probably use more of both every day to be honest.
Cost: New subscribers will incur the new fee at $19.99 effective January 15th. However, for our current subscribers prior to January 15th, we will continue their subscription at the introductory rate of $14.99 until March 15th, then it will switch to the new rate of $19.99.

The Box!
Facial Cleansing Brush: This was the spoiler item! I am glad to see that they came through and it is hard to believe something like this could come in a box at this price point. Even though it is off brand and not the fancy Clarisonic person it does work pretty much like it. I own the Clarisonic and bought it after I hear about it from other ladies. I mean, of course I want to be able to wash my face but only press a button! I love the way this exfoliates, yet it is still gentle. The last thing I want to do is rub my face with sand paper right?
This set comes with four attachments for various needs. Wash your face! Then pop on the massage feature and get that serum deep into your dermis!
They should have a weapon attachment for those of us who have to walk to our cars in the dark!
Rainy Day : This is a cute little idea for those who like to have a little magic happen when they water. I laughed long and hard at their “Pro Tip: add a piece of cloth or paper towel to the cloud for a larger rain,” because I never new anything like this would ever need a “Pro Tip.”
How long will my rain showers be? I’ll never tell!
Adorable Umbrella Necklace: This necklace is actually pretty cute in person. It is perfect for that rainy day where you want to make sure you match the weather. I am going to save this to send to Pnut for her wee ones who will like to wear fun stuff.
It hardly rains in San Diego so it would seem odd to wear this! 😉
Sunny Day Puzzle Book: I dig this idea a lot, but for other people. Why? I am terrible at puzzles. I just am awful at them. I often question my intelligence because I am so bad at them, but then all the thinking hurts my head and I decide to think about things later…
If you see a woman at the beach with a puzzle book cursing to herself it is probably me! Hi!
Shower Gel In A Sponge: This was far too fragrant for me to use. The scent filled up my whole house! I try not to wear any strong scents because I work with different people each day, some of which are very allergic to scents. I do like products like this usually though. Something about a nice new shower sponge makes me feel cleaner…
Maybe if I air this out a little bit…
Rainy Day Surprise: I have long hair that gets tangled up easily so this was a pretty cool rainy day surprise. I can throw this into my pool bag and I wont have to worry about sporting knotted up hair whilst flipping through a gossip mag. Yes, gossip mags are 100% made for reading by the pool or on a plane…
Do you think the Kardashian’s use something like this?
Verdict: This month they really kept with the theme. I think it was pretty awesome to get the cleaning brush because they can normally be expensive even when they aren’t designer brand. Everything else was gravy on top for me. While some items were not my idea of sunny day fun like the puzzle book, I was able to re-gift it to someone who enjoys working their brains more than I do. 😉

Oh man, I spent Sunday evening converting IP addresses into binary.

That reminds me of a futurama episode where benders uncle dies and he goes to a haunted house. The lights go out and all the zeros and stuff appears on the wall… Bender says its gibberish but then looks in a mirror and can read it and freaks out. Pretty funny stuff
Hehe, oh I love Futurama. I had part of an episode on last night but the bf hates cartoons. He “doesn’t mind” Bob’s Burgers, so I put that on instead.
I watch mostly all cartoons. My bear puts up with it and I think enjoys it a bit. He just doesn’t like that I literally will watch the stuff over and over again… I love animation and always have.
Ach so. Me too. Bob’s Burgers just makes me laugh like a maniac. The puns. THE PUNS! So much drink fyi…
Watch Archer if you haven’t already. It is hilariously awesome. But adult. Still it is one of my favorites ever. I love all the puns for Bobs burgers and the family dynamic. I wish that was a real thing…
I’m an Archer fan too! I’m in the current season. I also love Venture Bros but haven’t started the newest season.
I am a season behind. I wait until I can get it on Netflix because I can’t stay up to watch it… I need to give VB and honest try.
Well grab a martini and plant yourself on the couch because the current season of Archer is on Netflix!
I Cho Choo Chooose to watch it this week then!
Phrasing!
Puzzles are just stressful. How does a paper towel make the rain cloud bigger? This pro tip is over my head…
It’s all a giant puzzle!!! I think because it slows down the water am less of a rain shower but lasts a bit longer. I wonder if it will mean I’m a “rain maker?”
