*Adults Only Review* Unbound Subscription Review – June 2016

Unbound is very much on the sexier side of subscriptions. So if you are not into reading about such things you might want to skip this review. However, if you are curious about a subscription to bring some sensuality into your life and a quarterly basis you might want to read on!  Honestly, you are still reading… Shhhhh I won’t tell!

Cost: $65 a quarter

I legit think the ladies running this subscription are pretty awesome, and that is just from reading their site. They promise not to jerk you around (heh) so if you want to you can cancel without hassle, and even return items you don’t want without any questions asked. That says a lot to me about the curation and confidence they have in the items they send.

Let’s get real, I have had a lot of crap sent to me over the past year of blogging about subscriptions to really notice when a box is trying to actually provide a curated experience and when they are just trying to take my money. These ladies are very much setting out to delight with thoughtful curation.

 

The box comes in a plain white outer box. Inside you find a much prettier box that is suitable for gifting! Yay!

 

This quarters theme is Delta!

 

The info sheet really gets into the products and I love that they say “boobies.” Seriously, you can feel the personality in the writing!

 

Jimmyjane – Intro 2 Vibe: My best friend and I opened this and were perplexed at first… How did it ummm work? After some pretty hilarious guesses and noticing how non menacing it looked we finally just picked up the info card and read it. The little ears can be used in delicate places like your nips. There are three levels of intensities and two modes of pulses. So this toy is something you won’t get bored of too soon.

Am I weird that I want to put googly eyes on it and display it like a weird animation character? 

 

Unbound Bag: Super cute and I LOVE that they put a quote from Mae West on the bag! This is perfect for putting your little sexy secrets in!

Just don’t accidentally think it is a make up bag and pull it out at the wrong time…

 

Exsens – Cooling Simulation Gel: Me and the BFF were super excited about this because…. ummm… we could eat it right away and report! The box makes it look like super fancy lippy so if this were somehow found by a nosey nelly they likely wouldn’t know about your spicy secrets. The product is made in France and free of bad stuff… unless you like bad stuff… then yeah… its full of them.

Oh wait? What were we talking about again? Oh right! So we broke this open RIGHT away and I was shocked with how this really warmed up! So, don’t dump this on yourself is basically what I am saying. It tasted sweet, but not super candy like.

After trying it my mouth felt like I had brushed my teeth which was kinda cool! 

 

Unbound – Body Chain: It took us a bit to understand how this goes on. I will admit I never wear body chains but am going to see if I can make this one work for me. When you order they will ask you size preference so you won’t be stuck with something that doesn’t fit. I think sexy jewelry is a fun idea and I am glad to see that this was of really nice quality!

So… would it be too much to make this an everyday look? YA know, to stand out? 😉

 

Bijoux Indiscrets – Mimi Rhinestone Pasties: I am forever making jokes about nipple tassels for some unknown reason. So when I saw these I knew that I was WAY behind the times! These pasties stick right on and give your boobs a new fun look without much work on your part. Seriously, how awesome are things today? We have so many choices now when they once only had tassels…

I can see myself going over bored with body jewels and dancing around my place while yelling “I am a living disco ball!!!!” 

 

 

Verdict: Thoughtful curation and quality products are pretty much the recipe for success and Unbound has both these ingredients. It can be tough to curate a sexy subscription because there is a fine line between saucy and raunchy. Judging from what I was sent I can say that the line was not crossed! While these subscriptions aren’t for everyone, it is a fun way to spice up your life without having to spend a  lot of time doing decidedly not sexy things, like visit dusty adult stores or trying to wade through everything on the internet.
