MunchPak Subscription Box Review – July 2016

MunchPak is a subscription that wants you to feel comfortable with your grazing ways. Just embrace what we already know is awesome ammirite? I actually am very right about this. Indeed, I am in favor of snacking as a way to keep your energy up during the day and manage what is medically termed : The Bitchies.

I have suffered from this common malady and find that having something to snack on really helps to manage my symptoms!

Cost:

Mini $9.95 which has about 5 or more snacks

Original $19.95 for 10 or more snacks

Family $39.95 for 20 or more snacks

Bisco Hakko Butter (Japan): These crackers make me feel like I am eating butter and vanilla cream… a look at the ingredients tells me I am not far off! I cannot believe that there are three servings in this box because I could easily eat the whole thing. I am a sucker for salty sweet flavors and these cookies are small!

The kid on the box freaks me out a bit…

Pretz – Tom Yum (Thailand): These taste like lime with a fish sauce kick. I would not want to make out with me after scarfing the box down. So perfect for those times you want a little time to yourself!

I was afraid of finding a huge prawn on the inside!

Covered Bridge – Jalapeno Potato Chips (Canada): I am a sucker for chips and for anything with a little kick so I was happy to see these. I am going to stick them in my car for when I get the munchies super bad during traffic. It will be my own little treat for a stressful part of the day.

Dark Russet? Hmmm Can’t wait!

Badatz Paskesz – Taffy Crush (Brazil): This are sour taffy candies that will be sure to gum up your back chompers in a special way that only such candy can. I am always excited for sour candies because they make my day a bit brighter and I never end up eating a ton of them!

Don’t eat these while talking on the phone as the person on the other side will think you are doing a cow impression!

Yumy Yumy – Groovy Bananas (Turkey): I am just not a fan of banana flavor in gummies. I am not sure why I find the flavor so terrible. Anyone out there want some of these? 😉

What makes these groovy?

Lianhwa – Pea Cracker (Taiwan): Salty with a big of garlic flavor I finished these before I could help it. I love twisty shapes for some reason. Pasta, chips, gummies, twisty is my jam. There must be a ton of garlic powder in this snack because my breath was kicking after!!!

Gotta carry that toothbrush everywhere!

Torku – Favorimo Coko (Turkey): This looks like it is going to be a sort of chocolate covered twinkie type of snack. I haven’t tried it yet as I have not been in the mood for such a treat just yet. However I am sure I will be soon and will come back and update.

I just can only fit so many flavors in my belly at one time!

Torku – Turtacik Mini (Turkey): Orange jelly and cinnamon cookies… I am not sure if I would reach for these if I had a ton of snack choices. Something about the jelly makes it an interesting flavor but nothing I would hide from family and friends.

I hide the good stuff and refuse to be judged for it!

Badatz Paskesz – Oodles (China): Funny story… I ripped these open and they went flying everywhere. All over the floor and under the couch. I am not sure I will ever get them out of my place!

I am pretty sure I am super strong in fleeting moments when these things happen!

0898e26a-b05b-4cb9-b8f4-38960d2b2ad2

Emerald – Cocoa Almonds (USA): I have bought these many times and like them for when I have a gnawing sweet tooth but don’t want to take down a whole cake. Not that I ever actually take down a whole cake mind you… but just sometimes I FEEL like it!

I don’t mind the dusty fingers if it is cocoa dust!

Verdict:  MunchPak took me around the world and back in one snack filled box! I couldn’t even chow down every snack before the month was up! I really dig that they send things that I would never ever reach for as well as snacks I am sure to love. My whole attraction to a snack subscription is to have fun snacks that challenge me without being TOO weird, and I am happy with this month for doing just that!

Your snack reviews are always awesome! Those garlicky pea crackers look delightful… And I love cocoa almonds too!

Will Sophia eat the oodles if she finds them? When I saw the company name, Badatz, I thought that was a cool way to get away with saying they’re badass!!

I’ve tried the Tom Yum Pretz. Have you seen the pocky commercials? I love them. Apparently there’s “salad” flavored heh.
