Box: Charm Mail by Bakery Charms

Note: The above referral link gives you 10% off your purchase and me 5 clams! This three-month seasonal charm bracelet subscription is currently sold out! Charm Mail sales open in the beginning of each season: Summer (June), Fall (September), Winter (December), and Spring (March).

Contents: This is a seasonal three-month charm bracelet subscription based on a theme.

For the first month subscription, you will receive a bracelet plus two charms. The second and third months, you will receive two charms each.

Upon the end of the subscription, you will have a bracelet with six themed charms that you can use as traditional bracelet charms (of course), bag charms, attach to various items such as zippers, key chains, and can be used as stitch markers. Charms measure 1/2″ to 3/4″ each and are attached to silver-plated lobster clasps.

Charm Mail differs from Bakery Charms traditional monthly subscription (Sweet Surprises), you can see our reviews here.

Cost: $50 (plus reasonable USPS First Class Mail shipping from the paradise state of Hawaii) for all 6 charms and a bracelet in a three-month subscription. Mailings ships around the 15th of each month. International shipping is available.

Kick Back and Get Comfortable:

This is the second season of Charm Mail. The first season was Summer and was Pie-themed and the six pie charms were pumpkin, strawberry cream, cookies ‘n cream, cherry and chocolate marble pie slices.

Note: Not noms!!!

So for the second season, two theme options were available. Pastel Cupcakes and Savory Junk Food.

This is the first month’s review

of the Pastel Cupcakes three-month subscription!

This is a very nice quality bracelet for not being sterling silver. I am impressed!

Let’s dig in to see these non-nomable charms shall we?

Verdict: I am pretty sure these butterflies are Swarovski crystal. The crystals are similar to the buttery cupcake necklace in the March 2016 Sweet Surprises by Bakery Charms’s subscription box. That would make me pretty more thrilled than usual if this is the case! And I am really happy to see the cupcake flavoring as opposed to full icing coverage because it shows attention to detail and not taking any shortcuts to push out production. Lastly I was worried about getting a tiny tiny tiny cupcake but these cupcakes are a nice standard miniature size. We are off to a great start! I wonder what the next two months will bring. One thing for sure is to expect pastel cupcake liners in a different color (because I would think the charms would show more interest if each cupcake liner were a different color). Will we get sprinkles? Another special topping? What will we receive next from paradise? Stay tuned!!!

Am I the only one who wishes these were real?!? Then I wouldn’t feel so bad eating two cupcakes heh

OMG I am having thoughts of Alice and Wonderland! Didn’t she eat like mini cupcakes or something? I used to love that (golden)book as a kid then one of my older cousins told me it was all about drugs so I stop reading it ten hundred times because they had the DARE program at my school and drugs were bad. Did I digress much?

I think it was a cookie in the movie but I am not sure. I have actually never read the book… What is hilarious is most of these books are written by hardcore Christians. LOL at DARE
