Glossybox arrives packed in a black box that keeps the actual box from getting damaged which is absolutely amazing.

For the month of October we are back to the standard pink Glossybox, I love getting specially designed Glossies but I think the next one won’t be until December.

So, let’s open this Glossybox!!!!

I love the fact that every time I open my Glossybox it is specially tied up with the black ribbon which makes unboxing so special.

Each Glossybox comes with a product info card detailing each item and tips on how to use this product. Do you see what I see? Yes! there is a sneak peek for the Holiday Box! Get ready!

I know it looks pretty but let’s go ahead and tear open that nice wrapping!

So here are the five products for the month of October, just by looking at the items I think this is a great box, but let’s look at each item individually.

Masque Bar by Look Beauty – Aloe Vera Sheet Mask (1 mask only approx. value $3)

I was really happy to see this mask included in the October Glossybox because lately it seems like I have become addicted to beauty masks. It might be that they feel so refreshing and give your skin all the goodness it deserves or that I just like pampering myself. This Aloe Vera sheet mask is supposed to nourish your skin, and interestingly enough, according to the product info card it was developed in Korea. I have not tried it yet, but I have a feeling that this is going to be a good mask. (Wish they would have included all three that make the full size kit).

Unani – Illuminate Milk Cleanser, Full Size $18

Alright, this product seems to be pretty simple to use. You simply put it on, and rinse it off and its supposed to eliminate all dirt and impurities from your skin. The product itself looks like a cream and it smells absolutely amazing, so I cannot wait to put it on my face. Lately I have been using Micellar water for makeup removal so we will see how it compares. Last month Glossybox included a makeup remover and now a milk cleanser. I am not sure of the big difference each product offers except I am thinking that the milk cleanser also provides hydration.

OGX Beauty – Fight Fallout Niacin & Caffeine Root Stimulator Spray, Full Size (4oz) $7.99

I have never tried a root stimulator product before so this is absolutely new to me. The product itself smells minty and is very light. This spray is meant to help your scalp with hair fallout and its supposed to prevent it. We will see how this works over time.

DecleorAromessence Hydrating Oil Serum (sample size included, approx. value for .17 oz $24, based on the oz)

So when I was calculating the approximate value of this I thought to myself why is this item so pricey? As I read the product card I noticed a statement that says it takes 1,000 pounds of orange blossom flowers to produce 1lb of neroli oil and that is why this is one of the most expensive oils. Alright, I guess that explains a lot. This is another product that provides skin hydration. It smells a bit grassy, and according to the instructions you only need two drops of this product for your face, but I think I might have used more (LOL). There is not burning or oily feeling left in your face. To me is a definite thumbs up and I am glad I got to try it as a sample because I don’t think I would spend $73 on a full size version. (I am sorta what you call a bargain hunter).

Emite Makeup -Lip & Cheek Tint, Full Size $18

I decided to include both photos of what the product looks like when you put it on and the tint that it provides. The goal of this tint is to provide a natural pop of color to your lips or your cheeks depending on how you want to use it. I honestly do not think I am going to use this on my cheeks because I already know, its not going to turn out how I expect. I might be looking a bit funny, however, I will definitely use it for my lips. The shade is a bit bright for my preference but you can blend and tone down the shade.

Verdict: I am happy with the October Glossybox because it seems that they included quiet a few full size samples. Even though they are mostly skin care products it is perfect for me due to the fact that lately it just seems like I have been accumulating makeup. The box has a value of over $40 which is great for the $21 a month investment.

LOVE!!!!! I love your pics and take on all the products!!! How shocked was I to see a dark stain turn out to be so light and workable? pretty shocked considering my many mistakes with other products in the past!

Now…. we need to test the heck out of anything that makes hair thicker because…. my hair is so thin!!! sigh!
