Grove Collaborative
Grove Collaborative

Contents: Curated and/or self-selected eco-friendly products such as Health, Cleaning, Laundry, Hand and Body, Face and Hair, Kids, Scent Free, Oral Care, etc. to ship when you want it (monthly and/or on demand)! Some of the Brands carried are Seventh Generation, Acure Organics, Method, Mrs. Meyers, Molly’s Suds, and house brand Grove Collaborative.

Cost: Price of your items (usually discounted) plus $2.99 shipping (waived if you are a VIP member see more details below).

Kick Back and Get Comfortable:

I LOVE the service that Grove Collaborative offers. Every item that I received was either a promotional free item or discounted. I will keep a lookout for more promos and let you know! Most of the products that I bought were not found on discount via my beloved Amazon. Because I wanted to avoid passing Target and paying $200, we would buy our cleaning products on Home Depot (which were not discounted at all).

We all know how I want to save money in the comfort of my own home.

I found signing up was easy. Grove Collaborative asks a few questions and then curates a box for you. You can then feel free to delete and add items as you wish.

There is a $2.99 shipping charge BUT if you sign up for VIP status, the shipping fee is waived! So while you are shopping look into the VIP trial because you receive free shipping for two months and then you pay $19.99 for a year. In addition to VIP status, you will receive freebies amounting to five (5!) full size items within a year so $19.99 pays for itself in (1) free shipping, (2) five full size items and (3) the already discounted savings on items purchased!!! And if you forget to add the VIP trial to your order (like I did) the VIP trial option appears after you place your first order. And then if you forget that, I am sure the awesome customer service will take of you!

Once you make an order you can set up to change when you want your next delivery and what products you want for that delivery. Grove Collaborative will send advance email reminders and a text reminder (if you give your cell) when a monthly box is scheduled so you can make any modifications to that order. Also a week after you sign up, you will be able to “purchase now” if you need something now.

Note on Customer Service:

Not only is customer service awesome, make sure you look under the customer service representative’s signature because there might be a link with a coupon to one of their favorite products. You know me and codes and coupons.

I also was recently sent an email blast from Grove Collaborative with some points that they wanted their customers to be aware of and if you are not happy with a product they will compensate you! How awesome is that!?!

An other awesome plus is that if there is a promo for new customers, Grove Collaborative usually also rewards continuing customers with a promo as well!

Codes and/or Coupons for new and continuing customers = A Happy and Loyal Pnut

Price Matching Deets:

I noticed when I was stalk tracking my Grove Co box one of their advertisements  on the tracking page was for the VIP program features. One of the features was “price matching”!

Online Price Matching be still my heart!!!

As always, the third weeist of my Pnut people

and the true middle child of the family who demands to be treated as the baby of the family

Squeakette

wants me to get started on the review…

This month’s story is themed

Pnut Goes On Vacation To The Family Cabin And Forgets To Bring Her Love Of Grove Co With Her

Christmas In July For Squeakette!

Seventh Generation – Toy And Highchair Cleaner
Seventh Generation – Toy And Highchair Cleaner

Seventh Generation – Toy And Highchair Cleaner

If I had only one squeaker this would be my “Toy and Highchair Cleaner” but because I am on my fifth squeaker, this is my “Highchair Cleaner”.

Have you heard the tale of the “When the binky falls and what happens based on how many kids you have?”

With your first, you sterilize the binky.

With your second, you wipe off the binky.

With your third, you hand over the binky.

Well after four girls, I have to admit this boy is the messiest of them all.

He LOVES watermelons.

I have to literally have a huge wipedown after every meal and wash up the washable circle play mat (that I bought on sale via a subscription box site).

This one is not a chicken and won’t eat off the floor.

If you have been a loyal reader from the beginning you would recall that my second squeaker, Squeak, would not eat on her highchair and threw her food to the floor to eat. She would be so mad at me when I would be clean her area that I had to clean during her nap time. Sometimes I felt that I should put food on the floor it would save me time. But alas, Squeak eventually learned to eat like a human (child).

I digress…

Seventh Generation – Tub & Tile Cleaner

Seventh Generation – Tub & Tile Cleaner

This was one of the items that I meant to bring to the cabin. I LOVE this product its the best.tub.cleaner.ever! But alas I had forgotten and off to my stash it goes.

I felt so guilty I cleaned my tub “just because”.

Grab Green Diaper Pail Odor Remover Spray

Grab Green Diaper Pail Odor Remover Spray

If you have a trash bin and need a better spray, choose this!

For a greener version of Febreeze, get Grab Green!

This actually made it to the cabin!

It’s because I put it with the diapers and wipes. Diapers and wipes were high on my “packing list”!

It smells like (wild)flowers.

Because my Squeakers diapers don’t smell like flowers.

And to bring further the scent, I HATE Baby Powder scents and this has a touch of “powder” but its not gagging baby powder and the wildflowers is the dominant scent.

“Are you trying to say something about us, Momma!?!”

Seventh Generation – Stain Remover

This made it to the cabin.

Fighting stains in a septic-friendly was also high in my “packing” list.

This stain remover our Loyal Reader LC approved.

If LC loves it, it must be good.

VERDICT:

I LOVE searching Grove Co every so often because my order is shipped because there are ALWAYS new products.

Unlike *coughs* BIRCHBOX *coughs*

This month I found the perfect ecological friendly “fragrance” for my garbage bin.

Which is good because I was running out of those perfume vials since subscription boxes have declined on putting them in boxes. And I am not a big fan of inhaling Febreeze.

Also the highchair spray makes me happy. I do not know why.

I think new cleaning products make me happy. And motivated to clean.

That is why I Grove every month!

To get excited about cleaning and organizing and all that “Sparking Joy”!

I digress, I love this month’s Grove. Perfect curation by Pnut.

Maybe its because I choose what I want for my box and I love spoilers.

Grove Co = My monthly cleaning motivation.

Because even Amazon Save & Subscribe doesn’t motivate me.

Have you tried their countertop spray by Caldrea? I got it in the Tangelo Palm Frond scent and it is amazing. It’s spendy, but I think it’s worth it just to have my house smell so good. We have four dachshunds and a Labrador, so it’s money well spent!

Hi Susie!!! Happy as always to have you commenting 🙂
I LOVE all the Caldrea scents! I need to think about it because I might start collecting all the scents like I did with their room sprays!

I am actually low on dish soap (unless I squirrelled some away). I know I did bring over a bottle to the family cabin and left it there soooooo *add Caldrea Dish Soap to next Grove Co order*
